So after we waited in line for about thirty minutes , me and Ashton sits at a booth right next to a window .

"So , Mandy . Do you have a boyfriend ?" He asks . I flinch at those words .This subject was a very touchy subject simply for the fact that my last breakup didn't go down to well .

"Um , no . What about you ? Do you have a girlfriend ?" I ask him .

"No . I haven't had a girlfriend in about a year . " he says looking down .

I don't know why but I found this incredibly hard to believe .

"I mean I have sluts that practically throw themselves at me . But I haven't had a serious relationship in a very long time ."he says .

"Wow. For some reason I find that hard to believe ."I say .

He chuckles . "Why ?" He asks .

"I don't know . Maybe it's where your like a pro at flirting ." I say.

"Oh really now ? So I am doing a good job at flirting huh ?"he says smirking .

I just shake my head and take a drink of my coffee .

We then hear a bell and I turn around to see a blonde headed boy walking in the coffee shop .

But before I can turn back around Ashton grabs a hold of my hand and leads me to the door .

Once we are back in the car he then breathes a sigh of relief .

"Ashton , what the hell was that all about ?"I ask him obviously confused.

"I don't want you anywhere near Luke . Okay ?"he asks .

"Um , Ashton . Who's Luke?" I ask him .

"It's that blonde headed boy that walked in Starbucks just then ."he says pulling out of Starbucks .

"And why can't I be around him ?"I ask .

He breathes out heavily .

"Remember when I told you I wouldn't let anything happen to you ?"he asks looking over to me .

"Yeah?"I say .

"Well I won't and that's all you need to know for now ."he says .

"I just don't see why some random guy that walks into Starbucks is gonna be a danger." I say slightly irritated

"Because he's not just some random guy that walked into Starbucks . He's..Luke "he says .

"And what's so dangerous about Luke ?" I say.

"Shew , Mandy . He's just .. Dangerous ."

"How ?"I say irritated .

"Mandy , just trust me on this ."he says irritated as well .

"Why should I ?"I ask him .

"Because I'm like your security guard . I won't let anything happen to you . And Luke , well . Let's just say me and him have some bad history . Okay ?"he says .

"Fine but I expect you to tell me sooner or later ."I say looking out the window .

"I will .. Later ."he jokes .

"Ashton ?" I say .

"Yeah ?" He says .

"Thank you ."

"For what babe ?"he says .

"For being amazing ."I say .

We then pull into his driveway . Ashton opened the door for me as I get out . He then grabs me by the hand and looks at me .

"Your amazing . Not me ."he says .

"I beg to differ " I say smiling .

"Can I tell you something ?"he says .

"Yeah . Anything ."I say .

"You really turn me on ."he smiles .

"What it's true ?"he laughs catching up to me .
