Your P.O.V.

"Told ya we'd take care of it."

I turned to see Chat Noir was still here, "I had no doubt!" I smiled. "I moved here recently and I've heard lots about you two and I really admire what you do." I said, my eyes beaming.

"It's nice to meet a fan. I don't blame ya." He said with a playful smirk.

I heard his ring start to beep, "Doesn't that mean you're going to-"

"Transform back, yeah." He rubbed the back of his neck, "Well, I'll see you around...?" He extended his hand towards me.

"(Y/n)" I responded and shook his hand. With a wink, he was gone.

I continued my way home and once everything settled in, I squealed quietly to myself. 'I met them! Well... I only got to talk to Chat Noir. I hope I can talk to Ladybug someday too.' I unlocked the door to my house and stepped inside. 'Speaking of Ladybug, doesn't Alya have a blog about her? I'll have to check it out.'

The rest of my day was quite uneventful. I finished my homework to get it out of the way. It was now around 11 pm and my parents were already asleep. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't bring myself to sleep. I quietly snuck out of the house, but only to sit on my front steps for fresh air. After getting over the excitement of meeting one out of two heroes, I started to think about Fairy again. 'How am I going to keep doing this with Alya on my back? Even if she doesn't catch me next week, there's no way she'd give up.' I let out a quiet groan, burying my face into my hands. 'Well... the title is Fairy, not Locker Fairy.' I gasped and pulled my hands away from my face, 'It was so obvious! I'll start putting these into people's bags!' I thought and smiled. I narrowed my eyes to see someone taking a stroll. They were wearing a hoodie, jeans, and some sneakers. It was dark, but what stood out was their blonde hair. As my eyes adjusted, I realized, "Adrien..?"

The boy seemed surprised and stopped in his tracks. He turned to face me and laughed softly, rubbing the back of his neck, "Fancy seeing you here. (Y/n), right?"

"Yours truly." I got up from the steps and met him on the sidewalk, "What are you doing out so late?" I didn't have the chance to talk to him that much, so I figured now or never.

"I could ask you the same thing." He said, raising a brow.

"Oh, I just couldn't sleep so I stepped out."

"Sounds about the same as me. Do your parents know?"

"Do yours?" I retorted with a small smile.

Adrien chuckled, "Well... no. My dad's pretty strict so I snuck out, figured a walk would be nice."

"That makes two of us, not so much the strict part though." While we talked, we ended up continuing to walk.

"We're the rebels of Paris." He chuckled, "Not really." He added. "You got something on your mind?"

"Um... kind of. Why do you ask?"

He tucked his hands into the pocket of his hoodie, "I just figured that being out at almost midnight indicated something like that."

"Fair enough. Doesn't that apply to you too then?" I turned my head and peered into his striking green eyes.

"Only a little."

"Pfft, what's that supposed to mean?"

He looked over, his gaze meeting mine, "It's not directly about me, but stuff at school."

I frowned slightly, "Did something happen?"

He shook his head and smiled, "Nothing bad, don't worry. You've heard about Fairy right?"

My heart stopped for a moment, but I let out a soft laugh, "Hard not to when Alya made her announcement during class. Not to mention getting surprised with a cute note or two every week." I said, playing into it. "Is the mystery girl the one that's been on your mind?"

"Yeah, it's got me curious... but how did you know Fairy was a girl?" He asked as we started to walk into the park.

I froze for a second, 'Shoot.' I started to laugh awkwardly, "Well I just kind of assumed. I don't really know much." I said with a shrug.

We both stopped in front of the fountain and he leaned in a bit closer, looking into my eyes. I was afraid the slip up gave me away, but he backed up and sat on the edge of the fountain, "Makes sense."

I let out a quiet sigh and sat beside him, space still between us, "Fairy's got your attention enough for you to be restless at 11 PM?" I asked jokingly.

"Not entirely, it just seemed like a nice night to be out." He said, lifting his head to peer at the stars.

With the light of the moon illuminating his face, he seemed ethereal. Even though this was our first time talking, words came easy around him. I turned my eyes towards the sky as well, "Definitely."

We sat in a comfortable silence for a few moments before he broke it again, "We never talked about what was on your mind."

I lowered my head and fiddled with my thumbs a bit, "Oh, well..." I trailed off. There was no way I could talk about me sorting out my "schedule" for being Fairy. "I was thinking about the akumatized woman earlier today. You heard about it, right?"

"Yeah, I was actually stuck in that purple goo. Luckily I figured out that I shouldn't be struggling or else it would make things worse. Were you caught up in it too?"

I nodded my head, "Chat Noir actually let me know about that too."

He smiled and faced me, "Really? You got to meet him? What was he like?"

"You seem like a fan." I said with a grin, "He was pretty cool. I was panicked so if it weren't for him, I'd probably be covered in that slime. I actually got to talk to him a bit afterwards, but he had to go before he changed back. I wish we could have talked longer but..." I shrugged, "not much I could do about that."

He was nodding his head while listening to me, "That's awesome. I'm sure you'll get a chance to talk to him again."

"You think so?"

"Yeah. Maybe Ladybug too."

My face lit up, "I'd love that."

Adrien had a content smile on his face, hearing my reaction. He got up and then proceeded to lay on the ground.

"What are you doing?" I asked, confused.

He rested his hands behind his head like a cushion, "It's easier to stargaze this way, don't you think?"

I shook my head and smiled, joining him on the ground. Silence fell over us again. Though talking was easy with him, I also didn't feel the need to always be conversing. The quiet with him was pleasant rather than awkward. Before I knew it, my eyelids grew heavy and I fell asleep on the ground.

After a bit, I jolted awake, sitting up. Adrien jumped as I did so. I took deep breaths before looking over at him, "I'm sorry if I scared you. You ever had that dream where you're falling? Yeah..." I explained and scratched the back of my head. "Was I out long?"

Adrien let out a soft chuckle and pushed himself up into a sitting position, "I got ya. I didn't actually notice you fell asleep until a few minutes ago. My guess is you were out for 10... 15 minutes?"

As I listened to him, I was rubbing my eyes before stretching my arms a bit. "Maybe we should head back before I seriously knock out."

With a nod of agreement, Adrien and I both got up and headed back. I insisted he didn't need to walk me home, but he said it was on the way to his place anyways. With that, we said our goodbyes.
