Your P.O.V.
The weekend was quite an uneventful one. Everyone seemed to be busy. On Saturday and Sunday, I spent time making more cards in advance so that I wouldn't have to stay up late to make them anymore. On Sunday, I even baked one chocolate chip cookie to go with each one. In the middle of one of my last batches, I got a text from Alya.
Alya: Hey girl, make sure you sleep early. Try to be at school around 7:00 mkay?
(Y/n): Yes maam
I was already waking up in time for these things, but not for the entire week. Just thinking about it drained me. School did start at 8:30 and being there at 7:00 wasn't much of an issue, just the fact that I'd be there for an hour and a half beforehand was unappealing.
Although The cookies were on the small side, I still had to put some in a separate bag for them all to fit and to avoid crushing any. After that, I got ready for bed and drifted to sleep.
The next morning, I got up and did my usual routine. While getting ready, I watched some videos from the Lady Blog and also read things Alya had written. Then, I put on a peach colored sweater, a black skirt, and black lace up boots.
I grabbed my two bags and headed to school. My second bag wasn't too big, so it didn't draw attention to myself. I let out a yawn as I started getting closer to the entrance and saw Adrien going up the steps. My mind searched for the possibilities on why he would be here early, but I couldn't come up with anything. Before I got to the stairs, someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me behind the wall by the steps. Before I could protest, the person put their hand over my mouth with a finger to their lips, hushing me.
"Alya... it's just you." I said, letting out a sigh as she took her hand away.
"You can't just waltz into the school, what if Fairy sees us and figures out our plan?" She said, whisper-yelling.
"I doubt they would." I said with a shrug.
"Well anyways, did you see who just got here?" Alya asked, her eyes starting to sparkle.
"Adrien? You can't really think it's him.." I shook my head lightly.
"Well why not? Fairy could be anyone, so why don't we go see what he's up to?" She started pulling me out and dragging me up the stairs.
"So much for not waltzing into the school." I said sarcastically. Alya walked quickly to the locker room with me trailing behind after seeing Adrien walk into there. Carefully, she opened the door slightly to take a peek before walking inside. On the benches, we saw Adrien's bag, but he himself wasn't anywhere to be found.
"Where'd he go..?" Alya said more to herself than me.
"Bathroom?" I responded. While she started looking around, I slipped a card with a cookie into his bag while her back was facing me.
Alya gasped, hearing the bathroom door swing open. She shoved me into a locker and shut the door, resulting in me letting out a yelp. 'Maybe my title really should have been Locker Fairy...' I heard another door close and it sounded like Alya went into a locker as well, but a bit further from me.
"Hello?" Adrien said while walking over to his bag. He seemed to have heard me. Through the small openings in the locker door, I could just barely see Adrien. He opened his bag and froze. "Someone's here, right?" He called out again, closing his bag and looking around him. I clasped my hand over my mouth and steadied my breathing.
Suddenly, my phone rang a short four note tone from a notification, Adrien's eyes turning to the locker I was in. He walked closer towards me and before he could open the it, Alya burst out of her locker, "BOO!" She exclaimed. Adrien jumped and whipped around to face her.
"Alya?" He said, surprised.
"I got you, didn't I?" She said and laughed, sneaking a small wink my direction.
'No way, she saved me?' It wouldn't have been a big deal if he found me, but I appreciated the fact that she did this anyways.
"You did. What are you doing here anyways?" Adrien asked.
"I'm on a secret mission actually." Alya said dramatically. "I'm here to unmask not Ladybug... not Chat Noir... but Fairy!" She said with twinkling eyes.
"Really? You too?"
"Too..?" She asked, which was exactly what I was thinking. "But I thought you were..." she started to scratch the back of her head.
"You thought I was Fairy?"
"Well why else would you be here so early?" She sounded confused.
"To try and figure out who Fairy is! To be honest, I passed by you guys the other day and heard part of your plan. It didn't sound bad so here I am." He said simply.
"Well... I'll just let you know right now that my suspicions aren't off of you just yet, but I'll let you go this time."
"Thanks..?" He let out a soft chuckle, "The same applies to you too. I'm gonna head out, see if anyone else is here. See you." With a small wave, he left the room.
I stepped out of the locker with a sigh, closing it behind me. "One, was shoving me in a locker really the best choice? Two, thanks for saving me when my phone rang. Three, what do you think?"
Alya laughed and held up one finger as if she was counting, "It was the most efficient, but the noise you made could have given you away." She held up a second finger, "Girl, you know I got you." A third finger, "He was definitely a little suspicious. If he isn't Fairy, he probably thinks I am. If he is Fairy, his acting is very convincing." When she finished, she put her hand back down.
"That makes sense... it's going to be harder to pin this person down than I thought." I said and pinched the bridge of my nose lightly.
"Just trust me on this one, We'll figure it out for sure." She said with a smile. She beckoned for me to follow her as she started to leave the locker room. With her facing away from me, I slipped a card silently into her bag before we fully left the room.
A/N
I'm gonna start trying to draw the outfits for (Y/N). Let me know if you want more of this or if it's a little annoying. Also let me know if you'd rather have it inserted into the text the way it is now, or if I should make it the added picture for the chapter. Hope that makes sense <3 See you soon.
