After what happened, Maki was suspended and Kokichi was fine. By the time he had gotten out of the nurse's office, school had just ended. Kokichi's stomach flipped and turned because he was going to explain to his friends why he looked like that. Just as Kokichi was going to say something Tsumugi asked what he was going to talk about. Everyone agreed and wanted to hear, so the friends went to a nearby park and started chatting. "So, you know how I was shot with poison right? That's how I landed with white hair and a hearing aid. The wheelchair, blame the press." he felt he was shaking but tried to forget about it and put his mask on as he pulled off a fake smile. "But what about your golden eye? Was it from the poison too sidekick?" Kokichi couldn't believe his ears, he's Kaito's sidekick now? "Heh, you must be a little shocked I called you sidekick right?" Kaito read his mind. "Yeah, little bit of a shocker." Kokichi said nervously for some reason. "Anyway, the eye is from since I was born. And you may ask yourselves 'But how you had purple eyes' contacts that's the answer" everyone was amused that Kokichi had heterochromia since birth. Kokichi scared they would bully him for having a golden eye, was wrong. Everyone was complimenting his look. "Kokichi, why didn't you tell us before? It really compliments you."

Shocked about what he heard Kirumi say, he went towards her and gave her a hug. Kokichi never thought the would be simpathetic with him about his new look. Kokichi shed a few tears and everyone noticed and group hugged. "Not to close, I'm claustrophobic" everyone backed away but still hugging him. It made him feel loved. Or was it because he IS loved? As it became everyone started to go home. Kokichi and Shuichi were the last to leave. Walking together they started a conversation, "Hey Kokichi, today morning when you came into class, you looked very cute." Kokichi blushed from ear to ear as he wheeled with Shuichi "You t-thought I Iooked... c-cute?" Kokichi stopped as he tried to figure out what happened "Kokichi why'd you stop?" Shuichi said as Kokichi was motioning for him to come over to him. As Shuichi got closer, Kokichi pulled him an hugged him.

Kokichi never wanted to let go. He felt safe and loved. Shuichi on the other hand, was glad he was hugging him. It seemed as he really needed it. Once Kokichi was ready to let go they kept walking. Shuichi felt kinda bad for thinking he was someone else, but honestly nobody had recognized Kokichi. "Hey btw, why were you staring at me today morning. It seemed as if you weren't telling the truth Mr Detective?" Kokichi said with his signature smile, "A liar like me can spot lies really easily nishishi." Shuichi gave in, he was lying, he was admiring Kokichi's beauty. "Alright I didn't space out. Ya got me. I was admiring you because you look beautiful." Kokichi was prepared to hear everything, everything exept that. Blushing a red tone from ear to ear. Kokichi felt grateful to have such amazing friends. Despite the ups and downs they had during the game, their friendship had never been better. As Kokichi stopped in front a small house, he said bye to his beloved Shuichi and headed towards the small house.

Kokichi shaking about what his father would think of the new him, Kokichi came inside, and immidiately heard screaming from his dad who was drunk. "KOKICHI OUMA! IT'S 7:00 PM YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HOME IMMIDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL NOT RUN AWAY WITH YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS." His father pushed him off his wheelchair and started kicking him "LAZY ASS BASTARD YOU DON'T NEED THAT YOU'RE COMPLETELY FINE. NOW STAND THE FUCK UP!" Kokichi couldn't his father grabbed him by the his arms stood him up and in a blink of eye Kokichi was on the ground. His dad finally gave in and stopped making him stand up. Kokichi thought he was done. But he was wrong. His dad got a belt and started smacking him with it. His hearing aid came out, and he immidiately knew it was broken because he saw a spark. After his dad was done. Kokichi plopped back into his chair sobbing he grabbed his hearing aid and left.

    It was raining really hard luckily for Kokichi he knew a place where he would be safe. He headed his way to DICE's headquarters, a two story treehouse. Luckily for the Kokichi, looks like 6 had found out what happened to him and she and the other members had made him a ramp that you could pull up so no one could get up. He sighed changed into a oversized shirt he had because most of his stuff were there instead of his house. He got a bottle of Panta and drank it. Once he was done drinking it. He treated his injuries and went to sleep in his sleeping bag. Before drifting off to sleep, he had to his homework "Hehe, can't Kokichi Ouma the Ultimate Supreme Leader be any luckier than this? I doubt it." he said as he began to do his homework. Once he was finally done he fell asleep....
