{AN: An AU where Tony and Pepper are teen parents as requested by AnChowdhury sorry it took so long, I was struggling to communicate my ideas well and after a while became unmotivated finish it. I'm really sorry. Hopefully you like it :)}

Pepper sat in the corner scrutinising her watch with a gloomy stare. Tony was meant to be home by 6:15, it was currently 6:14 and the minute hand on her wristwatch was nearing a complete circle.

It was 6:15.

Pepper became flustered.

Deep down she knew she was being irrational but she really couldn't help herself. You see, Virginia Potts liked to feel in control; she made lists, vision boards and schedules. Gosh, she loved scheduling - she had her whole life planned out to a tee from the tender age of 5: she'd graduate high school salutatorian, second only to her genius boyfriend, Tony Stark, whom she'd made it entirely clear to she was going to marry, she'd study Economics at Harvard with a full academic scholarship, get a job at Tony's father's company, have a beautiful white-wedding at 26, have her first child at 28, have her second at 30 and retire to a lakeside cabin on a farm by 65. And that was just the rough outline! She had a binder full of schedules detailing every chapter of her life, none of which included the baby that sat in her stomach as of now. But after one drunk night, her parents kicked her out and Howard Stark shoved her and Tony into a cushy apartment out of the public eye - no, not out of the kindness of his own heart but to make sure that the media didn't find out about the infamous wild child Tony Stark's baby mama and bastard son.

Even still, amidst all the chaos and impromptu arrangements that filled her life, the red head still found away to keep her obsession apart of her daily life. She planned every day down to the minute, there was no room for error, she'd finally be in control again. But Tony, Tony wasn't helping that. He was meant to come back at exactly 6:15 so he and Pepper could unload the groceries, which would take approximately 20 minutes (seeing as Pepper had allocated everything on the shopping list highly particular and nonnegotiable places) then make dinner for the two of them (she hated cooking but would rather that then have Tony almost start a house fire again or risk getting sick from whatever concoction he managed to produce) have it ready within the next half hour, eat for 15 minutes and be in the shower by 7:20.

Tony's lateness had put a wrench in her plans. He was now:

3 minutes late...
4 minutes late...
5 minutes late...
6 minutes la-

"Hey Pep, I'm back!" Tony called, "there wasn't any grated cheese but there was blocks of cheese and we have a grater so it should be fine -"

"You're late," Pepper interjected giving her boyfriend a death stare.

Tony scoffed, "hello to you too babe," her expression only darkened. "Wha- I'm not that late," he spluttered once he noticed her seriousness.

"Not that late," she repeated, "not that late! You were meant to be here six minutes ago so I could pack up the groceries and make dinner and then have a shower. But now you're late and everything is ruined," her face had gone as red as her hair.

Tony became defensive, "you're being completely unreasonable we can still do all that stuff now!"

"Unreasonable, I- you know whats unreasonable is that I have to graduate online I get a virtual diploma because you couldn't keep it in your pants," she snapped.

"You said you wanted it, I never would've pushed if you said you didn't," Tony said voice low. Pepper couldn't bring herself to argue with that; even though they were both almost blackout drunk, Tony still made sure he got consent and explicitly told her that they wouldn't do anything if she wasn't ready but in the heat of the argument Pepper was to angry to think logically. "Besides you're not the only one who sacrificed," he added.
