After the whole event with Shorter being taken out of the room, and Eiji being woken up, Arthur, Y/n, and the blond chauffeur had been kept by Dino.
Y/n was sat on the couch, fiddling with Shorter's sunglasses.
Arthur watched her silently. He loved her. But seeing her in this state was too painful. He wanted to take those sunglasses and smash and burn them, because Y/n, in his mind, was his. Not Shorter's.
And Arthur will do whatever it takes to get Y/n. Sighing, he took a seat beside her, on her left, wrapping his arm around her shoulders, and the other on her left leg, pulling her close, then turning his attention back on Dino, who was reading the newspaper.
Y/n didn't fight back when Arthur pulled her close. She had Shorter's sunglasses, the only thing that's keeping her sane at the moment.
" That Yut Lung boy, " Arthur spoke up, " he's poisoned bait thrown here from Chinatown. "
Dino scoffed, " I don't need you to tell me that. "
The blond chauffeur shifted feet, folding his arms over his chest. Y/n still hadn't been able to pick up his name.
" So, have you rounded up all the downtown gangs? " Golznie asked.
" Yeah, all but Ash's group. " Dino arched a brow, before smirking, and looking at Y/n.
" And you didn't use Y/n here are bait? " Her optics shot up. Arthur rubbed the back of his neck.
" You know I could never do that. " Dino nodded.
" Understandable. I could never use my Ash for such a thing. " He sighed, and Arthur hummed in agreement.
Y/n, on the other hand, payed no attention.
" They chose Ash over Papa Dino, like they chose him over you, " the blond chauffeur began, pointing to Arthur, " Ash refused your help and still became their boss. He did it all himself. " Y/n looked up to him in confusion.
" Right you are, Mitchell. " Dino chuckled. Mitchell... Y/n mumbled to herself. It sounded more like a surname, not his first name. " I raised him. I found him. I polished and taught him. I created him. And now I must kill him. You wouldn't understand... " Y/n felt Mitchell's eyes roll.
A knock on the door caught their attention, and Gregory opened it.
" Papa, everything's ready. " He nodded.
" Let's get ready to receive our guests. "
Arthur shared a glance with Dino, before standing up, lifting Y/n up with him. Dino lead them out of the room, and Arthur told Y/n to wait in one of the bedrooms. However, she was left there for at least three hours.
