Alvaro's p.o.v
"Alvaro can I speak to you after class?" Mr.Huggins asked, looking up at me as I entered the classroom for my last subject of the day, science.

"Sure" I answered sitting at my usual seat in the front. I grabbed my books and pen out ready to learn the information for the day.

"Hey bubbles" I heard someone greet me and when I turned around I saw my best friend Kairi putting his book bag on the desk behind me before sitting down.

"Hey love, what do you have planned for the weekend?"

Kairi sighed and ran his nimble fingers through his luscious hair " Nothing really, Mattia wanted us to go catch a movie and go stargazing but I'm wondering if I wanna go"

"Kairi come on you've been blowing him off for the past week, what's wrong with you?"

"I don't have money for the date okay?"

"Bitch you are literally wearing a Gucci hoodie that's worth $1500.00, you drive a Porsche and you own a pony, you're anything but fuckin broke" I snapped growing irritated with his excuses.

Kairi rolled his eyes and sighed "Fine, I think he's planning to break up with me so I'm avoiding him"

"I'm sorry what?"

"He's been very distant and secretive, and I think he's cheating" Kairi looked up at the ceiling in order to not let his tears fall and ruin his mascara. Kairi and I were opposites of each other. He was more flashy and popular while I was introverted and chose to blend in with the crowd.

"You're dragging it , I'm sure he won't break up with you"

Alejandro's p.o.v

"I wanna break up with Kairi" Mattia said. I cocked my head to the side looking at him in confusion.

"One that was fucking random and two, why?" I asked taking another hit of the joint we were sharing before passing it to him. It was another Friday, same old routine , ditching our last period to smoke in the bathroom that nobody bothered to come in. Being a jock and popular was really stressful so I stopped trying to find time for dumb shit like certain classes.

"He's just too perfect for me, it's scary, I have to act a certain way around his rich snobby friends and family members and that's not me man"

I nodded understanding Mattia because I had to act that way around my parents and their friends. To say I was rich was an understatement, my father was the owner of a very successful light plant and my mother was a judge.

"Man I hear you but maybe you should just talk to him I mean you guys have been together for a while, don't just give it up" I suggested shrugging before taking the blunt from Mattia's fingers.

"Are you high? Because this is the first time you've said some smart shit" I pushed him and chuckled.

"Fuck you man"

"Ewww Nah bruh I'm a top"

"You scream bottom energy bitch the only person you can top is Kairi"

We both bursted into fits of laughter as our buzz came rolling in.

Alvaro's p.o.v
"What do you mean I have to become a tutor ?"

"Alvaro you're one of the school's smartest students, you have a 4.0 G.P.A, any college would be happy to take you but tutoring will get you looked at first."

I sighed as I thought on what she said.

"If I tutor, who will be my student?" I asked looking at her.

"Uhh.... Alejandro Rosario" I felt my blood begin to boil. I loathed, Alejandro ever since freshman year when he pantsed me in front of the girl I liked.  He's been nothing but a menace to society and this school.

"No offense but I'd rather eat my own toenails" I said preparing to leave.

"I'll have the school pay you $30 a day" she said standing up. I halted my movement and looked at her.

"You can do that?" I asked curiously

"Yeah , Alejandro is the schools's sports strength. He plays football and track and is good at it so they'll do anything to keep him on their team"

"Make it forty and I'll think about it"

"Deal"

I shook her hand and smiled softly.

"See you Monday miss Huggins"

"See you Monday Alvaro"
