Chapter 3

Teds POV

Here I am lying in bed starring at the ceiling and for a change I was exited for the day.

Wake up dude wake up - I heard someone call while jumping on my bed,

What the flip jake??? - I exclaimed

Hey do you want revenge or not - Jake asked while walking out my room.

I quickly got out of bed and followed him as he handed me a bucket full of ice cold water before I knew it we were standing in front of Chloe's door.

On 3 - I said

1 - Jake said

2 - I said

3 - We said together

We opened the door and ran inside, throwing all the water we had onto Chloe's bed, but as we turned around there she was as dry as can be with to huge water balloons.

Did you guys really think I'm that stupid? -she said before throwing both of us with the balloons and running out her room.

Wow dude she's clever! - I said to jake

Yeah we underestimated her - he replied in a scared voice

And now we both her targets - I said with a scared look on my face

I went back to by room and took a quick shower and put on some causal clothes.By the time I got to the kitchen Emma and Chris had already left, but Chloe was sitting at the table and boy did she look gorgeous.

Hey Clo - I said

Only my friends and family call me that !- she snapped while rolling her eyes

I'm not your friend? - I asked with my best doggie face

Nope I am not friends with city boys and their egos! - she said without any sympathy

Well I'm going to change your mind - I said full of confidence.

We"ll see - she said

As Jake came in he sat down next to Chloe we all had a full breakfast before heading to the door.

What's the plan - I asked

Well Chloe and I will be riding horse, but you got a choice horse or truck- Jake asked

Um horse - before looking over at Chloe who was just smirking.

You know city boys can become country - I said looking straight into Chloe's crystal blue eyes

Ya right once a city boy always a city boy - she replied sarcastically

We were now busy herding the cattle into the crush, I must say it was quit a job

Watch right! - Chloe called

Got them - Jake replied

As we neared the crush about 8 cows broke away from the herd we managed to get the rest in before Chloe said she would go get the rest. Jake an I dismounted our horses and and tied them up, the. We went to sit on the crush while waiting for Chloe. It was amazing to see how fluent she can ride.

She's good hey - Jake said catching me starring at Chloe.

She's excellent!!!

Yip she's training to be on the international team - Jake informed me

Wow that's big, what's her class?- I asked

Cross country, jumping and dressage!!!

When does she get time to practice?- I asked while starring at Chloe bringing the cows to the crush without much effort.

She wakes up every morning, really early and on Thursdays she trains her but off- Jake said in a very proud manner.

When's her next show- I asked

The next one is trials, and next week you should see how crazy the other girls go to win, thankfully Chloe's not like the- Jake announced

Just before I could say anything else Chloe came.

Come on lazy buts,we have a job to do - she said

Jake and I both just chucked at that and went to assist her.

Once we started we had a few hiccups, but after that it started to go smoothly.

Stop starring and come try - Chloe shouted to me.

Not wanting her to think I was scared I agreed. Once I was standing next to Jake he showed me how to do it, he stepped out the way and went to stand next to Chloe. As the cow approached me I did the injecting without a hitch. As I turned around to go rub my achievement in Chloe's face, I heard hoofbeats behind me as I turned around a cow was coming for me, I froze I couldn't move just thinking about what could happen, but as I came back to reality I started running for my life I jumped up and out of the crush as I did this I fall and landed face first in the dirt. I looked back to see Chloe and Jake laughing their buts off.

Ha ha very fun - I said while making my way over to the laughing pair

Once a city boy always a city boy - Chloe said between her laughter while high- fiving Jake

Chloe and Jake quickly finished up the job and by now it was about 4pm as we made our way to where the horses were grazing. We all started in a conversation.

What you doing tomorrow - Chloe asked Jake and I

With Dad - Jake replied

Anything you doing Chloe - I answered

Nope sorry can do, Thursdays are my days with bachelor boy! - Chloe said

Before I could answer, Jake said - uhm you can come with my Dad and I

Okkay - I said extending the K

When we got back to the house we all sat down for supper. After supper I crawled to my room and jumped on my bed, thinking why Chloe wouldn't fall for me like all the girls from the city. After a while I jumped in the shower and went to bed.
