The morning sun invaded Jimin's eyes, forcing him out of sleep. He rolled out of his comforting, warm bed and checked the time. He groaned, making his way to the shower. With a sudden stop, he looked into the mirror, greeted by purple marks across his neck and chest. Turtleneck it is, he thought to himself.
He finished his shower and grabbed his handy concealers. He meticulously covered every mark, setting them with powder and placing it in his bag for touch-ups.
He peeked out of the window to see how many cars were in the driveway. Jimin was greeted by none and he smiled.
Jimin's breakfast was animal crackers and apple juice: his favorite. Before long, he walked to the bus stop and sat on the hard curb. Yoongi drove by and snuck a quick peek at Jimin's sweet chubby cheeks and small frame. Yoongi tried so hard to keep the image of him in his head.
Jimin stepped onto the bus and sat in the middle beside the same quiet kid he always does. The brown haired beauty nodded to him, his usual greeting.
He started to think about the night before and Yoongi. It made his heart hurt a little knowing Yoongi will never feel the same way. A tear fell down his cheek as he quietly sniffles. No one noticed. Everyone was too tired and they all had headphones turned up too loud to even notice.
"Are you alright?" The boy suddenly asked Jimin. It made him jump slightly. He nodded and wiped away the tear. "Jungkook," the boy grunted. He told the boy his name.
They stayed silent the rest of the ride. He's a strange boy, Jimin thought to himself, but I've always thought he was cute. The rest of the teenagers filtered off the crowded bus. Jimin and the other boy were always last to get off the bus.
"Um, Jimin! Wait up." Jungkook said, "Can I walk you to class? I know you have English first period."
"Creepy, but yes. You can if you want," Jimin jokingly replied.
They walked to Jimin's class, occasionally complaining about how early school starts. As Jimin walks up to the door, about to walk in, Jungkook stops him. "Hey, I've wanted to tell you this for a while, but I think you're really cute."
Jungkook quickly walks away, giving Jimin no chance to reply. Dumbfounded, Jimin walks into class, sitting beside Taehyung.
Taehyung asked what was with him the whole class, but Jimin didn't have an answer for him. He couldn't even form a full sentence. A real guy just called him cute. His face broke out into a smile and Taehyung knew it was about a boy so he left it alone.
After class, Jungkook was waiting for Jimin. Again, he walked Jimin to his class. As Jimin walked into class he called out to Jungkook, "You know, you're not a model or anything, but you're pretty cute, too."
Jimin couldn't see, but Yoongi walked past the door at the perfect time to hear him. Yoongi decided to skip the rest of school and go home.
Jimin and Jungkook walked to each class together for the rest of the day and ate together at lunch with Taehyung.
Jimin learned that Jungkook really liked video games and Jungkook learned that Jimin loved to dance and sing. He asked Jimin if he would dance for him, but Jimin blushed and denied his requests. Taehyung egged it on and told Jimin he should share his gift with the world. He shot daggers at Taehyung when Jungkook laughed.
Jungkook's laugh was so pure and fulfilling. He almost laughed like a child. Jimin could feel Tae's heart swell when he heard his laugh and knew that he had just fallen in love with the brown haired boy. From that moment on, Jimin vowed that he'd find a way to get them to fall in love with each other.
