The packed halls were filled to the brim with whispers and judging fingers aimed straight for Jimin. Yoongi squeezed his hand and placed a kiss on his head as they fought their way to his class. Jimin trailed behind, grasping firmly on Yoongi's pinky.
After many minutes of persistence through the sea of peers, they reached his class. Jimin examined Yoongi's eyes, attempting to decipher how to say goodbye. Yoongi noticed this and swiftly grabbed his cheeks, placing a gentle kiss onto Jimin's soft lips. He was speechless.
"Now, run along and try to pay attention, little one," Yoongi smiled as he waltzed away from the door, fading out of sight into the sea. Jimin sat down beside Taehyung silently and zoned out towards the board.
"Hello! Earth to Jimin! Anybody there?" Tae tried, but Jimin was lost in his own world. The whole school day seemed to last ages to Jimin. All he could think about was the changes Yoongi had made for him. Yoongi wasn't person who'd change for anyone. Change for him was almost impossible so what seemed like such a small change to some meant the world to Jimin. The last bell rang and he sprinted out the door to Yoongi's car.
He was patiently waiting for Jimin, sitting on his car while fiddling with his phone. His face immediately lit up the second he caught a glimpse of Jimin. He immediately walked up to him and picked him up, holding him tighter than he ever had. "How was your day?" He asked, opening the passenger door.
"It took forever. Everything went by so slow," He groaned. Yoongi smiled and pulled out of the parking lot. He even let Jimin hook his phone up to his car. Yoongi smiled as Jimin sang to every song he didn't like. He didn't seem to care very much about what was playing in the background, as long as Jimin was with him.
Yoongi didn't want to drop him off, but he knew Jimin had plans with his friends, so he pulled into the empty driveway and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. "We'll talk in a little bit," Jimin beamed, "I'll call you when I get back home and maybe I can come over," Yoongi smiled and ruffled his hair. Jimin hopped over and kissed his cheek.
Yoongi watched him unlock the door and blow him a kiss before pulling out to drive home. Jimin squealed as he went up to his room to change clothes before Tae and Jungkook got there. He almost didn't want to go out, but he promised he'd go out with them. Tae wouldn't admit it, but he was nervous to go out with Jungkook. It wasn't Jimin's first choice in plans for the evening, but Tae was his best friend and he would do anything to support him.
Jimin threw on a basic white tee and a cute pair of denim ripped jeans. He decided to pair it with small hooped earrings and some white sneakers. After a few minutes with some sea salt texture spray and dry shampoo, he had finally reached the perfect amount of volume. He did one last fluff to his hair and headed downstairs to wait for Taehyung's text.
After about 45 minutes, his phone finally vibrated.
Tae Tae : im here
You : Okay cool be out in a sec
Tae Tae : please hurry he looks cute
Jimin chuckled at Tae's nervous demeanor as he grabbed his wallet and keys, locking the door behind him. He waved at the cute, cream-colored mini cooper in his driveway, opening the back door and climbing in. "Jiminie! Guess where we're going," Tae exclaimed, giving Jimin no time to answer, "We're going to the fair!" He smiled at how excited Tae was to spend time with a cute boy. Jungkook turned the radio back up so they could keep listening to his playlist.
Tae and Jungkook sang along to his favorite songs, Jimin just watched the two. It made him happy to see Tae so happy with someone else. He had been a loner until Jimin came along and he forced Tae out of his shell a little. Before long, they got to the parking lot at the fair.
