1. A "perfect" life

As I open my eyes I feel like something is totally wrong, and it's not that my alarm sounds like a screeching demon. Turning it off I lazily sit up and rub my eyes, trying to make myself feel half awake. I stretch a little before eventually turning and moving my feet off my bed. Standing up I notice how it's basically pitch black out. Turning towards the tiny alarm on my nightstand I notice the time, 5:00 am.

"God damn it," I groan at the time staring back at me. The only reason it was set so early because some dumb ass on the team decided to do morning practices all last week, and it seems I forgot to set it back to my normal time of waking up.
I turn away from the clock and decided to just get ready for the day since I'm already painstakingly awake.
I walk over to my desk and grab my phone.
'Luke should be awake right now, he was always the one to willingly wake up early out of the two of us.'

-To: My Prince
-From: Dummy
-You awake?

And.. sent. Hopefully he is actually awake and I'm not gonna be suffering alone. Putting my phone back down I go over to my closet and grab out the white blazer and purple skirt.
I would be lying if I said didn't consider coming here because of the uniform, because I 100% did.
I go into the bathroom across the hall and change, also brushing through my hair and brushing my teeth. Once I reach my room again I check my phone to see if I got a reply. I did get one, but I also received another message on top of that too.
I decided to answer Luke first though, since he is my boyfriend.

-To: Dummy
-From: My Prince
-Yes? Why are you up?

I smile at the message.

-To: My Prince
-From: Dummy
-I forgot to change my alarm back to six last night T_T

I send the message and immediately check the other one.

-To: Manager-Chan
-From: Strawberry Boi
-I need your help. I may or may not have provoked Semi T_T

Of course he fucking did.

-To: Strawberry Boi
-From: Manager-Chan
-What the hell did you did? And why are you even awake?

I sigh at Tendou's stupidity. Sadly these messages don't even shock me anymore, it always seems like there is constantly something new going on with this idiot. But despite all that I still love him, as a friend that is.
I check the time and it's already six. I decide that now would be an appropriate time to head downstairs and grab some food.

"What do I want?" I hum out looking around the kitchen. Sadly there wasn't really anything to eat since I haven't went to the store since my parents went out of town for a business trip. So I just grabbed a granola bar and left.

--Time Skip--

Reaching school I look around at everyone else walking through the front gates. They all seem so chipper, besides the tired looking Shirabu I spot talking to a pissed off looking Semi.
They're both standing outside the front of the gym talking. I want to go say hi and greet them, hoping it'll wake me up more. Though I decide against it knowing what Tendou did earlier. So instead of heading in that direction I lower my head and try to keep walking towards the main school building until I hear someone yell.

"Y/n~!!" The familiar voice lifts my mood as I turn to see my blond boyfriend jogging in my direction. God I'm so happy he's here.

"Luke!!" I smile at him as he catches up to me and pulls his arm around me.

"So~ how was your weekend?" He asks me with a smile. We would have normally hung out together over the weekend but he apparently had something important to do.

"It was really good! I got a new game and-" He cuts me off.

"Cool, cool. And what did I tell you about playing games so much? Focus on the actual important stuff, you don't have time for silly games,"

He gives me a look that I've seen enough times before to know what it means. 'Why don't you ever listen to what I say?'

"Well I know, but I've been doing really well in class and so I decided to buy the game since it had just recently came out. Plus it seemed really cool,"

I see him nod, not really paying attention to what I was saying. I notice that he's also staring in a different direction. I look to where he's looking and notice him and Shelby looking at each other.

"Hey uhh Luke," I mutter out. Him and Shelby have known each other since forever so I shouldn't be suspicious of him, but I can't help it, "What were you doing this weekend since you never really told me?"
He doesn't answer. I my hand and tap his side.

"What the hell y/n?" He pulls his arm away from he and looks tired of me.

"Well I was just wondering, what you did this weekend. You didn't answer me that much and never told me," I smile at him.

He smiles back, "Oh yeah that, it's not important."

There he goes again, back to his normal self. "But you said we couldn't hang out because it was import-" 

"Oh my god y/n! Do you ever shut up? You know what I'm going to go talk to Shelby, see you later I guess,"

I nod. Feeling the tears well in my eyes I quickly blink them away. Shaking my head I remind myself that he's just stressed and he'll be back to normal soon. It doesn't help though seeing as I've been having to remind myself of that for the past few weeks. Something just feels off. Seeing as I've reached the shoe lockers I change them out and keep walking down the hallways.
Though before I get to far I turn back around to look for Luke and Shelby, after a few seconds of looking I'm about to give up until I see it.

He kisses her on the lips.

That's when my whole world comes crashes down on me.

Author's Note: Thanks to anyone and everyone who reads this. I hope you enjoy it, seeing as I currently know where this story will go I'll probably be writing quite a few chapters tonight but update them over a span of time. Anyways I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of this story :)
