4. The next day is always hell

I open my eyes to hear the demon alarm ringing through the air. I feel myself still being held in Tendou's embrace. Slightly I pull away. His eyes flutter open and he smiles at me.

"Good morning," he smiles releasing me from his grasp. I smile back, it's forced but definitely not as much as my smiles were yesterday.
"Morning," I sigh standing up, and walking over to where the demon lives. Turing my alarm off I look down at what I was wearing last night.
It was just a tank-top and some sweats, while Tendou had on a hoodie and sweat pants he had let me borrow.

"Looks like we're gonna be at school early~" I hear the red haired boy hum from behind me.
Turning around I see him picking up his school uniform from my chair. "Well I should probably get changed before we leave,"
He looks back and smiles at me. As he walks out I look around my room. It's a light shade of (f/c), something Semi had helped me pick out last year while redoing my room. Walking over to my closet where I had hung out my uniform last night.

The inside of the door was covered in photos, mostly of the team, but still covered in photos. I lightly smile scanning all the pictures. I see the one where Shirabu had buried Goshiki in the sand, and the one where Tendou and I had ganged up on Ushijima making him wear cat ears. Looking over the pictures more I spot one that doesn't settle right with me.
It's a photo of me, Luke, and Shelby all at the festival together. We all looked so happy.

I rip the photo off and drop it into the trash can by my desk. I feel the tearing coming back to my eyes as I think back on the actions of yesterday.
"Y/n?"
I look up to see Tendou standing there, giving m a wonky look.
I can tell he notices the tears, but he doesn't say anything.
"Go get changed and ready for the day, I'll wait for you in here,"

I smile at him, grabbing my uniform once again and head to the bathroom.
Closing and locking the door behind me I look up.
My eyes are all puffy and red, honestly not my best look.
I force a smile, examining how it looks. I sigh though, knowing that I'll never be able to fool Tendou or Semi. They've been my best friends for as long as I can remember, and I know they know everything about me. At least, the things they should know about me.

Quickly changing I then brush out my (h/c) hair. Man this really sucks. I want to keep smiling an move on, but I also want to rewind everything and fix all my mistakes. It's to late for that now though, what's done has been done.
"Y/n?" I hear a light knock on the door.
Opening it I see Tendou standing there, no particular look is on his face.
"What's up? I taking to long in the bathroom?" I smile at him. It's not completely real but I can also say that's not faked either.
"Well kinda, I was just going to ask you a question," He smiles back on me, but instead of it being a goofy smile it's more a concerned/ confused smile.

My mind starts running, thinking of every questionable/ stupid thing I've done in the past 48 hours, and honestly I came up with a good handful. Shaking the thoughts out of my head I reply, "Yeah? What's up?"
He looks at me then sighs.
"Where the hell is your food? I mean come on, the last time I was hear there was enough food to last a year. Now there's barely anything to last a day,"
I sigh, relived but also kind of upset he only cares about the food.

"I haven't been out shopping since my past left Friday, plus I got a new game after they left so I kind of just sat around eating and playing it all weekend,"
I notice him playfully roll his eyes.
For some reason I feel so much better with him, which is weird considering I just got cheated on.

"I'm bringing you shopping later, because you need food in this house," He smiles then grabs my wrist, "Now come on, we have to quickly grab our stuff then head out to school."

--Time Skip--

Arriving at school was a lot different this time then the others that I've walked here with Tendou. All the other times he'd be complaining or down right whining. This time though was weird, he was awake and talkative. I'm not saying it's bad, I mean of course it's not bad, but honestly I can't help but feel like this is cause of what happened yesterday.
Never mind, of course it fucking is. I don't mind though, at least he's keeping it all off my mind.
