it's been 4 months since you agreed to go on tour with dominic; you couldn't have made a better choice. the only downside you had out of everything was the fact that he had a girlfriend at the time, and you pushed your feelings back so he could be happy with ashley; they broke up recently, and your heart broke for him as much as it broke himself. they didn't leave on bitter terms so he didn't stay too upset about it for long, but also, he had you. you were his comfort, his shoulder to cry on, his midnight conversations, his therapy, his safe home.

there were still over 20 shows left in the tour and their song was still on the set list. he was frantic, panicking about what to do. "should i go ahead and leak a new song off the ep, or do i do a cover, but if I do a cover, what will i do?!" he paced back and forth, and you felt like shit because you didn't know what he should do.
all you could do was hug him. "dom, calm down, everything will be alright. we'll get something figured out, but i have to go shower real quick, okay?" you go to your room through the door that connected your two rooms and gather a tee shirt, some sleep shorts and your unmentionables. you undress yourself and hop in.
you began humming to yourself as you pondered in your thoughts about what to do. you wanted to help him but you truly didn't know what to do. "chill out, what ya yelling for," you began singing. your washing you hair whilst still singing when you hear a noise in the bathroom. you stopped for a moment but carried on bc it could've been the boys in their room being boys or the people on the other side of you. "...why'd you have to go and make things so complicated, i see the way you're acting like you're somebody else, it gets me frustrated..." you practically sang your way through your routine. once you're completely done, you hop out and wrap yourself up in a towel.
you grab your toothbrush and apply the paste and begin brushing your teeth. you grab your clothes and walk out into your bedroom where you see dom, mouth agape, and his eyes never ones disconnected from yours. "Uhm dom, i'm in a towel," you say before he snaps out of it and turns around to avoid visual contact.
"fook, y/n i'm so sorry, but i heard singing and i didn't know who it was and when i heard it coming from your bathroom....i just...oh my god you have to sing on tour with me!" you're completely dressed now; you walk over to him rather quickly and spin him around, "there's no way i could do it, dom. i mean the fans loved it when you and ash sang together, i just don't think they'd take it the right way if i was up there and she wasn't."
he could understand where you were coming from, but suddenly, he had an idea. he took his phone and starting typing like rapid fire. in just seconds, your phone dinged. you checked it only to see:

"guys, sadly h won't be able to make it to the show tmrw night so how would you guys feel about being introduced to a new guest singer?!"

within minutes responses were flooding in. omg exciting...who dom whoooo...holy fuck yeah...ohmyfucking god is it y/n?!!?... that last comment sparked a whole different conversation. "i fink it's safe to say they're gonna fookin love yaz," he said to you with that cute smirk on his face. "oh hush dom," you say as you slightly nudge him over. "wanna practice for a little while. i know they are gonna be closing in on the doors outside during soundcheck," he messed with his hair for a moment as you agreed to practice.
after 30 minutes of contemplating, the two of you decided that you'd bring back an oldy, but definitely a goody, falling skies. and then of course, two hours later, the two of you had it down. by the time you two were done, it was almost 10:30. almost every where was closed, except for a few of the late-night-vibe restaurants. "would you like to get out for a bit," dom asks. you look up and stare at him for what seemed like forever. the way he was slumped over wasn't in a lazy way, it was almost like he was just as entranced as you were. your eyes almost were at war with how to look at him. you quickly snapped out, "yeah," you responded. you quickly through on a tee shirt and some leggings and throw your hair up in a bun. you weren't necessarily in any hurry and plus, you weren't sure that he was even remotely intrigued by you sometimes.
"alright keep em closed," he tells you. for the past 15 minutes, you've had no clue where the two of you are going. "dom where are we going," you ask him. "you'll see. all in good time, love. all in good time," you feel his hand pat your thigh, and it's almost as if lightning had struck you from the inside out.
you feel him park the car, and he gets out and comes to open the door. he grabs your hand to guide you, and you felt this enormous connection that you couldn't help but bare it. dom is someone you have wanted since the first time you met, and you couldn't help the feelings you had, but you didn't want to seem pushy to him in his vulnerable state.
he waits until you are inside before reliving you of the blindfold. it's a hibachi grill. you relived those moments. the hug, the jokes, the smiles, the conversations between you and dom. "i hope you're not bummed out," he said quietly. you looked at him, "bummed out," you questioned before running into his arms, "dom, this is amazing. this is where you saved me from the worst person in my life. it's where we rekindled, we really connected," you held on to him. as you inhaled you caught a whiff of his scent. it was manly, but subtle and it's almost like you're surrounded by muscular linen.
you felt his arms swallow you whole, and you became very warm considering the night was cold, and so were your thoughts. you had almost completely isolated yourself from the thought of being with him because you just knew he couldn't feel the same way.he guides you into the restaurant, asks for seats by the grill and leads the way. the two of you sit there as you sip on the clear soup you've always enjoyed and cracked up about some funny moments together on the bus. and there was that feeling again. the feeling that this right here is how things are meant to be.
the waitress brings out a wine for the
two of you, and to your surprise, it was the
only one you could tolerate. you knew dom was behind that. the chef comes out with his trey, happy to see the two of four people he'd cooked for before were back. "well mate," dom said to him, "we're back," a grin plastered on his face.
you got to thinking about the last time you were here. "dom," you were completely wine drunk and not sure where you were going to go with this, "the last time we were here...i wasn't completely honest with you...and i still haven't been," oh fuck. here it comes, "i was in love with you in high school...and i am still in love with you now," there it was. you felt one thing that mean time of two things right now, holy shit the truth is out, this is great and holy shit the truth is out, i need to run.
he looked at you, and that was it. there was never a word; you couldn't even tell what he was thinking. you were hoping that what he felt was in correlation with the rice heart the chef had shaped on the grill, but you didn't know. before you knew it, his lips had crashed into yours; you could taste heavy wine on his lips and his right hand cushioned your cheek as his left rested upon your inner thigh. it was in that moment, you could feel your stomach floating and flipping and tickling you from the inside. in the short span of a few seconds, there were a thousand thoughts flying through your mind, ninety to nothing
