SHATTERED HEARTS

"I'm sorry Sir, but your Mom has a severe illness.
And it penetrates the heart. It was commonly known as "Heart Arrhythmia."

"W-hat do you mean, Doc? " I asked again.

"She needs to undergo some medications and she needs transplant as soon as possible." the doctor clarify.

"Most of these can be easily remended" the doctor added.

My knees trembled as I heared what he said.

It was three in the morning when my mother was rushed in the hospital.

I saw how she lost her consciousness. I saw how she touched her heart like it was the last day of her life.

"Hey love, everything will be alright" It was Anne, my girlfriend while tapping my shoulder.

"I don't know what to do anymore"
I said while resting my head on my knee.

"I'm here love, I will help you" trying to convince me.

"But how?!"
"You don't know anything!" as I shouted at her.

"I know please calm down"

"How can I calm down if my mother is at risk?" then I suddenly stopped.

"Look, I'm sorry for shouting at you" then I hugged her.

"I'm always here. You can lean on me" she said while comforting me.

I suddenly heard a loud sound in the hospital, a lot of the nurses panicked and I found myself running to the room 904, where my Mom is confined.

"M-om" I cried.

"Check the vital sign"

"I 2 3 CLEAR"
"Her heart was slowly beating"

"Mom, please don't leave me" I pleaded.

"I'm sorry Sir, she needs a 'new heart' as soon as possible." doctor said.

"Her body doesn't respond to those medications." I nodded.

"Yes Doc, I will do everything just for my Mom" I replied.

This is the only way...
To make my mother stay.

I walked to our kitchen then I found myself holding a knife.

"Love! what the hell are you doing?" shocked is evident in Anne's voice.

"You know that I love you right?" I said while holding the knife.

"What are you talking about?"
"Please put that knife down" she begged.

You walked towards just to stop me.

"I'm sorry love "
"Goodbye love"

"No Love!"

Then I stabbed her heart.

I smiled and say;

Thank you for giving your heart to my mother.

I love you but I love my mom even more.
