WHY THEY ALWAYS LEAVE

"Babe? " I said with an exhausted voice.

"Maybe he's busy preparing for our date. Today is our anniversary." said to myself.

"Babe ! andito na ako" as I walked towards the visitor's area.

Tinanggal ko ang sapatos at isinandal ang paa sa lamesa nang may nabasag na larawan.

"Shit! our wedding picture" panic is evidence in my voice.

"What happened? " a baritone voice filled the area.

" Mag ingat ka kasi!" singhal niya sa akin.

"Di ko naman sinasadya, im sorry"

" Tsk. Let's eat our dinner!" he said with an authority .

" I thought we're going on a date?" i asked him.

" What's with the date? Any celebration?" as he walked towards the kitchen.

" N-one " my heart felt a little pain.

He forgot about our anniversary.

" I need to go to the office " as he started eating.

"Even it was Sunday?" it shocked me.

" Yes " he said directly.

"Goodbye babe!" as i waved my hand.
Then he immediately went off .

I walked towards our room then a witty idea come to my mind.

" What if I'm gonna go to office then suprised him?"
"Not a bad idea."

I walked confidently as i go to the conference room.

Wearing a red and a bit revealing dress.
I looked stunning and jaw dropping.

"Good morning, Maam"
"Shit ! Your so hot " 
" Perfect" 
the crowd said.

All I can do is to smile for all the compliment.

"Where's your boss?" asking the secretary.

"A-hh Maam he's busy " shocked because of my presence.

"Kindly open the door , I want to see him"

" But Ma'a-- " I cut her words.

Then as I open the door my smile faded.

He was sitting in his chair with a girl on his lap, and the worst they are kissing.

" Oh! live porn?" I said like nothing happened.
But bitterness filled me.

" Omygash !" the girl said .

"Ba-be let me explain."

" Happy Anniversary Babe and thank you for hurting me " I said then walked away.

"Babe , wait " as he started the engine of his car.

Bumagsak ang malakas na ulan kasabay ng pagtulo ng aking luha.

"I hate you for cheating on me"

" I hate you for hurting me"

" I hate you for forgetting our anniversary"

My phone ring...

It was him.

"H-ello" i said.

"Babe please, im sorry please forgive me."

" I dont know if I'm going to believe in you."

"You know right? " I lov-- " I ended his call.

After how many minutes, my phone started ringing again.

" Can you pleas--- " without knowing whose the caller.

"Is this the wife of Mr.Colin?"

"I'm no longer his wife!" i commanded.

"Your husband meet a car accident.
He was dead on arrival....."

Naibagsak ko ang teleponong hawak ko..

That was 6 years ago...

People will leave your life for one reason...

THEY LEFT BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO LEAVE.

They had a choice and they chose to leave.

"Love will die."
"Relationship will end" 
And that's the pace of life.

Some people aren’t ever meant to stay.

And maybe that’s ok.

Because maybe in their leaving, we gain ourselves.
