Entering the dark forest, everyone took their respective paths. Danuja and Ichika followed by the royal guards went deeper into the forest, but not before glaring at Sakura, so that she does not follow them.
The sects went their own way warning the disciples of danger in the path that was ahead of them. Individual martial artists were starting to explore the dark forest. The Raven sect also proceeded into deeper depths. Before disappearing completely Niko gave Sakura a glance, his expression made people think he was plotting something. Only Sakura remain rooted to the spot or so was what she thought. Sakura then noticed a petite and pretty girl at a distance of few steps behind her. She seems scared Sakura, thought.
Sakura patted on the girl's shoulder and asked, 'Are you afraid?".
The girl jumped in fright and said, 'You scared me, do you always appear like a ghost? What is your name? Which household are you from?".
''Are you always a chatterbox or is it because of your first time entering the dark forest? " asked Sakura curiously. Sakura found this girl quite likable and if this girl will be willing to pair up with her to explore the dark forest she wouldn't mind. Indeed, Sakura will enjoy this girl's company, this was a premonition she had.
'' I am sorry, I am just so scared because my elder brother came here last year but didn't return. My family was devastated but I convinced them that elder brother was alive and though they threw a lot of tantrums they allowed me to come here," the girl replied tears streaking her round chubby cheeks.
''So, you are here to find your brother? 'Sakura asked.
''Yes, by the way my name is Aol and I am from a noble family from Feifei continent, what is your name? "she asked Sakura.
'' Sakura,''Sakura replied at her smilingly.
''I think we will become great friends. I like your cool and calm temperament. It is so nice to meet you,'' Aol said enthusiastically.
Sakura thought she had made a great friend today which reminded her of Laila. She drifted into her thought of Laila before Aol snapped her fingers in front of her. ''Hey! What happened? Your expression gave me a sad feeling and I don't like sad people around me. So, smile now," Aol said happily. Her joyous personality made Sakura smile.
''Good.So let's go inside fast otherwise all the good and ferocious creatures will be beaten by others and we will not get a chance to train our skills,''Aol said dragging Sakura inside the dark forest.
This is going to be a fun and thrilling journey, especially when you have a friend to experience it with, Sakura thought.
