Chapter Seven

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong pumunta sa Solaris. Hindi ko kasama si Hana dahil wala silang practice ngayon. Pagpasok ko sa dance studio ay walang tao doon pero tingin ko ay may nauna na sa'kin dahil bukas na ang mga ilaw at aircon.

I decided to do some stretching to warm up. Pumunta ako sa gilid kung nasaan ang sound system. I opened the laptop that was connected to the speaker and played some BTS songs. I removed my eyeglasses and put it on the empty table next to it.

I closed my eyes as I stretched my body. I still have muscle pains from yesterday's practice. My shoulders were hurting. I didn't mind. Hindi ko naman ikakamamatay ito. I opened my eyes when I heard the other door from the back opened.

I observed the person from the huge mirror in front of me while still stretching. He was wearing a black sleeveless shirt, wide-leg cargo pants, and white air jordan shoes. Nakasabit ang headphones sa leeg nito. Kitang-kita ang mga tattoos niya sa kanang braso. If I wasn't mistaken, one of his tattoos was yin and yang fish. It was pretty.

Inalis ni Kenzo ang atensyon sa phone niya. He paused briefly then looked at my direction. Matagal niya akong tinitigan bago naglakad patungo sa direksyon ko.

"You're here." Bungad niya. He was standing from my back but he was looking at me through the mirror.

Liningon ko siya. Hindi ko alam kung paano tutugon sa sinabi niya.

"Obviously?" I said awkwardly.

"Sungit."

I didn't mean to sound sarcastic. I just really could not think of a good response to him. I was not good with small conversation nor any type of conversation.

Lumapit ako sa laptop para maghanap ng ibang kanta na papatugtugin. Sumunod siya sa'kin.

"How's Solaris so far?" Tanong niya.

"K lang."

"Have you eaten breakfast?"

"Yes." Tipid na sagot ko.

"Then why are you so grumpy?"

Kumunot ang noo ko. I fought the urge to glare at him. Ramdam kong pinapanood niya ako habang nagse-search ng kanta sa Youtube.

"By the way, you were amazing during the audition."

Liningon ko siya para magpasalamat sana pero hindi ko nagawa. I was caught off guard with how close he was to me. I noticed that his silver messy hair was shorter now. Umiwas ako ng tingin. Alam ba ng lalaking ito ang personal space?

"Thanks." I managed to answer.

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag nang narinig kong bumukas ang pinto. Pumasok doon si Vince at kasunod niya si Allysa. They were energetic when they entered the room, but Allysa became more lively and started bopping her head as soon as I played BTS' Outro: Wings.

"Take me to the sky. . ." Allysa sang.

When the chorus hits, she started jumping. Napangiti ako habang pinapanood siya.

"Sino bias mo sa BTS?" Tanong niya nang matapos ang kanta.

"Jungkook."

"Ako si Hobi." I could totally see it why. She was a sunshine and an amazing dancer like J-Hope.

Lumingon siya sa gilid kung nasaan nakatayo si Kenzo. "Anong tinitingin-tingin mo at bakit ka nakangiti?" Tinaasan niya ito ng kilay. "'Di ba ayaw mo sa BTS?"

Kumunot ang noo ko at tumingin din sa dalawang lalaki. They were both leaning against the wall like a model.

Kenzo suddenly looked defensive. "Ako? Kailan pa?"
