Everytime I see you, it just feels like millions of butterflies are flying in my stomach. It feels warm, and somehow pleasing.
___________"Hey, Giyuu. If you have three wishes, what would they be?" Sabito randomly asked, Giyuu thought for a moment.
"I'm not very sure." He looked at his hands.
"Maybe I just wish that I can meet my big sister once more, that's what I've ever wanted. I still can't forgive myself about her death. If only I was strong enough to protect her." The boy responded in a sorrowful tone, playing with his bokken as tears started to cover his eyes.
Knowing about the boy's past, Sabito frowned and hugged him, changing the topic is of course a bad idea. "It's okay, Giyuu. You can't see her, but I know she's always here with you. Maybe she's watching you right now."
Sabito gently wiped off the other boy's tears, "Don't cry. I'm here for you, so are Urokodaki-san and Makomo! Come on, let's go back to training."
Giyuu would most likely fail to do some things in the training, but Giyuu was a fast learner. He would try not to do the same mistake over and over again. Giyuu thought himself as a weak, and a hopeless boy; compared to Sabito, who was the opposite. But Sabito knew the boy had such a great potential, always. He knew Giyuu was weak, and maybe a crybaby, but who knows things would change?
One afternoon, Sabito and Giyuu went to a pond for a nice walk (they forgot about makomo, dont blame these stupid lovebirds). "Imagine getting your head punched by a nasty, stinky demon. It'll be funny as hell." Sabito started.
"It was funny as hell, Sabito."
"You shouldn't joke about that, Sabito." The boy advised him, in a slightly concerned expression and tone. "Come on, Giyuu, have some fun for once! Nothing will happen to us, right?"
"Yeah, nothing will happen to us."
"But, you're not worried about any incoming events..?" "Giyuu, as long as we stick together, and not leaving each other, we're going to be safe and nothing will happen to us. Trust me, will ya? I promise, Giyuu." Giyuu then nodded at his words, he knew Sabito was reliable.
"I thought you promised, Sabito. I really did."
"I miss you so goddamn much."
