Super Junior & NCT meeting Serenity's dad

I was walking around Seoul with my arm linked around my dad's so that he doesn't get lost. I had a mask on so that I'm not recognised.

"Do you get recognised a lot?"
"Yeah it comes with the job especially if you're a big name."
"And you're a big name, how?"
"That's mean"

The two of us laugh. My phone begins to ring so I pull it out

"Oppa?"
"Serenity ah where are you?"
"Walking around Seoul with my dad why?"
"Your dad is in Korea?!"
"Yes"
"Come to the company"
"Oppa I'll have to be a translator for you all"
"It'll be fine Siwon is here as well."
"Alright I guess."

Hanging up I look to my dad

"You remember Jungsoo and Heechul?"
"The two idols who have been keeping an eye on you"
"Yeah"
"Then yes"
"Well Jungsoo wants to see me and I guess you'll be meeting his group"
"What are they like?"
"Crazy"

We begin walking in a direction before ending up outside of the SM building. Entering I see Heechul waiting for us

"Oppa"
"Serenity"

He bows to my dad before walking with us towards the practice room

"Ailish why do they call you Serenity?"
"It's easier because you know I have an Irish name"
"It's not that difficult"
"Dad I was called everything but my name living in the states."

My dad laughs as we get to the practice room. Super Junior all watched as we enter, Leeteuk is the first to come over with a smile to say hi to my dad

"Dad this is Super Junior, Super Junior this is my dad."

I see shocked faces before all of them start talking at once

"Oppas my dad doesn't speak Korean he only speaks English"
"Are you insulting me?"
"Yeah I'm calling you old"
"I'm not that old"
"Dad you're in your 50's"
"Still young"
"I always forget she speaks English fluently"

I couldn't help but laugh. Super Junior would speak to him in their limited English but they seemed to be getting along fine.

"Your dad seems to be doing fine"
"Yeah he's always been more social than me."
"That is strange, NCT are in the building"
"Nope not happening they'll ask my dad stories about my childhood."
"They'd want to meet him"
"Yeah I guess we'll go in a bit when you all get back to practice"

Heechul and I watch everyone interacting. I start to laugh when a though popped into my head.

"What's so funny?"
"Old people are interacting"
"Yah!"

He pushes me jokingly but laughs as well. Soon enough they have to begin practicing again. I wave goodbye to them as we leave the room. Taking out my phone I message the group chat I'm in with NCT. They're all eating but I should come to them. Jaehyun offers to come meet me which I take up. It doesn't take him long to get to us I watch him freeze when he sees my dad

"Jaehyun this is my dad, Dad this is Jaehyun"
"Is he a friend?"

Jaehyun and I share a look before nodding

"Dad we're dating but you can't say anything to anyone but his group."
"The guys are waiting so maybe we should head over"

The three of us begin walking towards where they are. I see a lot of eyes widen when they see my dad.

"Guys this is my dad"
"Your Appa!"

I couldn't help but laugh. Most idols I'm close to have only heard stories of my dad and have wanted to meet him

"He only speaks English so some of us will have to translate for him."

The two of us sit down with them. Conversation flows between us all and I enjoy seeing two sides of my life meeting especially if it's people I hold close to me. We spend quite a bit of time with NCT till they need to leave. My dad and I wave to them as we leave.

"They seemed nice"
"How about Super Junior?"
"Not to crazy but I think they truly care about you"
"That they do"
"That boyfriend of yours Jaehyun was it? I don't know how I feel about him yet"
"Dad I'm not kidding you can't say anything about it to anyone."
"I won't"
"Not even Maria"
"I won't"

The two of us leave the building to head out to meet my manager who will bring us back to my apartment. Hopefully he doesn't say anything.
