Battles - Gladion x Reader

I've decided to start with Gladion, why?

Because every seems to like him a lot ;v;

In some fanfictions, I can't even go a second without seeing his name in the Table of Contents ;v;

(Y/N)'s POV

Right now I'm walking around with my partner Pokemon (Partner's Name)

Oh not to mention, we're on Akala Island

Just wandering around and battling some other Pokemon too

That's when I bumped into a blonde-haired dude

"Ah, sorry" I said

"Tch. Watch where you're going!" he replied

"Hey I said I was sorry!" I exclaimed

"Well, since you bumped into me now, I want a battle!" he suddenly said

I was confused for a second

But, I couldn't turn down a challenge, can I?

"Fine!" I said

We sent out our Pokemon and started to battle

-Timeskip because I don't know how to write battle scenes ;v;-

Wow, that was quite a tough challenger

But I won anyways

"Hmph, I guess you aren't that weak after all" he said, then walked away

I turned to (P/n)

"What's his problem?" I asked

(P/n) then gestured me to the Pokemon Center

"Oh! Right! I need to heal you, sorry buddy" I said, then we hurried off to the Pokemon Center

I gave my Pokemon to Nurse Joy and waited for them to heal

I went to sit down, and just sigh

Later on I hear a Nurse Joy

She looked at me and said, "Miss, your Pokemon have fully healed"

I went over and got my Pokemon and my partner and thanked her

This was a more eventful day then I expected...

Well, better start walking home!

-Timeskip-

I woke up to the sound of my Pokemon 

"What's up?" I asked

(P/n) wanted to go outside

"Ok, hold on, let me get ready first" I told him/her

I got ready and headed out

We were walking around and (P/n) was talking to other Pokemon around

It was a pretty nice time, until I saw the same blonde-haired dude from yesterday!

I tried to avoid him, but to no avail, he noticed me

"Hey! I want a battle! I lost last time and today it won't happen again!" he shouted

Gosh this guy is stubborn

I turned over to look at him

"No." I said 

And began to start walking away

"H-Hey! Come back!" he shouted

I don't feel like I'm in the mood for battling right now

For the whole day, he kept bugging me to battle him

So I turned to him and exclaimed, "Fine! I'll battle you!" 

And... here we go again

-Timeskip-

This time we tied

"Well, that was nice, I guess" I said

"I guess it wasn't that bad" he looks away

I then ask him, "Hey, what's your name?" 

"Huh? Oh, it's none of your business!" he exclaims

"You dragged me into this battle so it would be nice to at least know your name!" I shouted

"My name's (Y/n)" I added

"It's Gladion" he sighed

"What?" I say

"My name" he said

"O-Oh! Thank you, uh, I must be going now, bye!" I exclaimed

To be honest, I thought he was pretty cute, maybe we could be friends

I was lost in my thought until (P/n) nudged me

(P/n) then looked at me like it's asking 'Are you getting a boyfriend now?'

I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks

"N-No! H-He's not!" I probably look like a tomato by now

(P/n) then smirked

Great now he/she would have ideas to 'ship' us now

Battles could really get you new friends too, I guess

But one day, I hope for something more...
