Warmth - Red x Reader

(Y/n)'s POV

I am walking around trying to find my way to the battle tree, I heard Red was there and I really want to challenge him to a battle

Lycanroc (Any form you want) looked excited

I walk into the battle tree, battling others and finally meeting Red!

I heal up my Lycanroc

"Hey! You're Red right?" I asked him

He nodded

"Can I please have a battle with you?" I asked politely

He nodded then sent out his Pokemon

-Timeskip-

Red won

"Wow, that was a good battle!" I told him

"Thank you!" I thanked him

He nodded and I went on my way to the Pokemon Center to heal up my Pokemon

-After they're all healed-

Lycanroc jumped over to me

"Hey buddy" I patted his head

he then licked me

"H-Hey stop it!" I exclaim

I wonder where Red is

Wait what?

Nevermind

"Hey buddy I'm tired, let's go home" I told my Lycanroc

He nodded and we started to head home

-The day after-

"Hey Lycanroc, let's go find Red!" I told him

Lycanroc seems happy about it

We went back to the battle tree and only found Blue there

"Hey, Blue?" I asked him

"Oh you must be (Y/n)! I heard you're really strong!" He said

"Thanks, but do you know where Red is?" I asked him

"Oh yeah, he's at Mount Lanakila! He seems to LOVE Snowy Mountains" Blue said

"Well, thank you Blue" I thanked him and decided to head over to Mount Lanakila

-At Mount Lanakila-

It's so cold here, I wonder how Red survives this? I wasn't ready for the cold yet... I thought I could take it

"I-It's s-so c-cold" I told my buddy

Lycanroc looks cold too

When we reached the peak of this Mountain, I found Red, standing there, looking unfazed by the coldness

How?

"H-Hey Red!" I said

He turned around and looked surprised

At this point I was about to just freeze because of the cold

Red noticed this and took me to his little campfire made by his Charizard

I should've chosen Litten....

(Pretend you didn't pick Litten as a starter if you did chose it)

"Hey thanks, I'm not that cold anymore" I thanked him

Red nodded

Lycanroc snuggled up against me for more warmth

I pat his head and he seems happy

"And I forgot to thank you for that battle yesterday too!" I exclaim

He nodded and scooted over to me

He then hugged me to give me more warmth

"O-Oh t-thank you" I looked down and blushed

Wow, this really IS comforting

We stay there for a bit

"Hey Red, how are you so warm?" I asked him

He shrugged

This isn't that bad

I gave him a peck on the cheek and thanked him one more time

His cheeks turned a slight shade of pink

Well, I guess I can stay here for a bit longer
