Emile walked over to his appointment with Virgil. He just didn't understand. He had become a light side, and they must have helped him, right? Don't get him wrong, the dark sides could be wonderful people, but the light sides were not ones to hold grudges, and definitely not ones to hurt people.
Neither the less, his good friend Virgil was in trouble, and he was going to help him.Emile entered right on time, to which he found Remus and Janus talking worriedly with each other.
"Hello." Emile said, shutting the door behind him. A look of visible relief flowed over the snake-like side.
"Oh, Emile, thank God. He's upstairs, the dark purple door." Janus said.
"Thank you." Emile said, nodding curtly. He walked up the stairs and quickly found the door. He nocked slowly, not wanting to disturb his old friend.
"Y- yes?" Virgil asked.
"Hey, it's me." Emile said softly.
"E- Emile? Remus and J told me a therapist was coming... Let me get the door for you." Virgil answered back. About fiver seconds later there was a click and the door swung open. Virgil's room looked the same as usual, if not a few darker colours here and there. He sat down in a chair next to the bed he knew the anxious side so dearly loved."Janus informed me of a problem going on. What happened?" Emile asked.
"U- uhm, well, J caught me cutting a while ago." Virgil muttered hesitantly.
Emile was very surprised at this fact, even if he didn't show it.
"I see. Can you tell me what caused this?" He asked Virgil gently.
"Uhm, well, I had some rough times as a light side..." Virgil said hesitantly.
"Okay. Can you elaborate?" Emile asked.
"Uh, they- they hit me a couple o- of times." Virgil said. Emile almost fell off the chair he had sat on. The light sides hot Virgil!?
"So, physical abuse? Is that all?" Emile asked.
"I think so..." Virgil trailed off.
"Can you explain to me what you mean?" Emile asked.
"They, they called me worthless,... Among, other names..." Virgil barely whispered. That was not like the light sides.
"Do you sustain any if these injury's?" Me asked. He almost didn't believe Virgil. Well, he didn't want to
"Uh ye- yeah..." Virgil said.
"Are you okay with showing me..?"So that's why Virgil was in the bathroom washing of countless months of foundation. Oh, and taking out a contact lense.
Needless to say, Emile was very worried. He was witnessing his friend wash of months of makeup that he had used to hide things from his other friends and family, and he was also trying to take out a coloured contact lense. Why would he need a coloured contact lense!?
"You aren't gonna laugh?" Virgil asked uncertainly.
"No, I swear I won't." Emile said, smiling softly.
"M'kay..." Virgil muttered, turning around to reveal many bruises and a few scars, but nothing as prominent as some pretty major scaring around his blind left eye.
