WARNINGS; cutting, implied attempts at suicide, panic attack (not in depth just shaking and crying basically).
Virgil was curled up in his bedroom in his palace and didn't know what to do. On one hand, Thomas was calling him. On the other hand, Virgil really couldn't deal with that because he had a knife in has hand and scars on his wrist. So he did what any normal side would do. Freak out, not go, and have a panic attack on the floor.
He knew the light sides would flip if they saw this, seeming as it wasn't the first time he'd had a knife in hand, even though that was more deadly.* So when Deceit (Janus) came knocking on his door, he really panicked. He threw the knife in the laundry basket, covered his sleeves and hoped he didn't come in to far. That hope was, of course, shattered when Deceit came through full force.
Deceit could tell when someone was lying, so when he heard Virgil telling himself that it was alright on his lie detector, you betcha he busted down that door as fast as sidely possible. (Not a word? Should be.) When he also saw Virgil, mid panic attack, blood everywhere, bloody sleeves, and a knife very obviously sticking out of the laundry basket, he wondered why he didn't see it sooner.
"I-im sorry I-" Virgil managed to stutter out. Deceit ran over and hugged him while Virgil curled up into a ball.
"Hey, its okay, it's alright, your doing great." He reassured the anxious side.
"A- are you ma- mad at me?" Virgil mumbled, shaking furiously.
"No! No of course not! Why would I be mad at you?" Deceit (JANUS) reassured, puzzled.
"T- the lights wo- would be ma-d." Virgil mumbled, crying a little harder.
"Well, I'm not the lights, sweet heart. We're not mad at you here." Deceit said, hugging him tighter.
"Th- thank you,.." Virgil muttered.
"Of course." Deceit said, smiling slightly at the younger side. After what felt like five minutes but what was really half an hour, Deceit slid Virgil off of him and started to stand up.
"D- Dee?" Virgil stuttered. "W- where are you going?"
"Shhh, sh, I'm just going to get some medical supplies so we can clean your arms." Deceit said, rubbing Virgil's shoulder. Virgil whimpered. "I'll only be a second."Deceit needed to have a very serious talk with Remus
