It had been ten months since Kumaglak had first arrived at Sanctuary and started training to be Dragon Rider, a legendary warrior who swore to protect Erdas about two thousand years ago.
During these past ten months he learned a lot of spells, potions, and fighting and flying skills.
They learned a fire making spell, levitation charm, locking spell, mending charm, severing charm, softening charm, unlocking spell, curse of the bogies, green and red sparks, knock back jinx, smokescreen spell, light extinguishing charm, lighting charm, and full body bind curse.
They learned cure for boils, forgetfulness potion, herbicide potion, wiggenweld potion, antidote to common poisons in Potions.
They learned matchstick to needle, switching spell, mice to snuffbox, avifors spell, and target to matchbox in Transfiguration.
In History they learned about the fifteen dragon tribes and where their kingdoms are and about the Pyrrhia and Pantala, the dragon continents that broken apart about eighteen hundred years ago. As well as writing and reading since none of them were educated that well on reading and writing.
In Flying Practice they focused on mounting their dragons, flying above twenty feet, and calling their dragons to them from about hundred feet away.
And in Battle Training they learned how to properly wield their weapons and excelled in fighting with their weapons.
The Elders consider letting them go back and visit their families for the next two months, since they learned enough magic to defend themselves as well as weapon defense.
He considered going back to visit his parents with Kaya, and they both agreed on it.

Kaya learned a lot over the past ten months, especially in their private lessons with Anaba. They got so good that they no longer could here the voices of other people in their heads, since they could slip other people's thoughts into a repetitive noise like rain or ocean waves. They learned to handle their visions better, she still got splitting headaches sometimes, but it depended on the intensity of the vision and if she fought it.
And their mind defense was so good that even Darkstalker and Whiteout had trouble trying to get into their minds, but she knew Anaba could break into her mind with ease if she tried.
And then there was the curse/gift animus ability she and her brother and the dragons had. It was probably the most dangerous ability they had out of their abilities. And she still hadn't found a way to protect their souls from the soul eating curse/gift thing when ever they used it.
But the good thing was she and her brother were going back to Arctica to visit with their parents for the next two months till they came back to Sanctuary to start their second year of training.

For the past ten months Sanctuary had been her home, literally since her family and village basically hated her. Though she still missed Alana, her bet friend, and Tatiana, her younger sister. She just didn't want to go back home because of the all the bad memories there: her grandmother dying, the best friend she ever had, her family and village hated her, her fight with Damek was the worst of them. She just couldn't bare it, she just couldn't keep living somewhere she wasn't wanted, it wouldn't be good for her or Hurricane.
So she was going to stay at Sanctuary and continue learning from Tidal Wave; which she had made more progress than any of his students before her, but that may have been because of her training she had Hurricane before she had came to Sanctuary.
It was going to be lonely these next two months without Kumaglak and Kaya, mostly Kumaglak, irritating her.
But she was going to try and keep busy with her elemental water training and work hard till she was just as good as Kori and Tidal Wave themselves and then go kill their murders. It felt right since she basically inherited their legacy since she came from the same island as them, so it felt like she was suppose get revenge for their deaths. So she was going to kill the evil demons who killed Kori and Tidal Wave.

P.S. I'm writing a second book and try to make this a series if you guys keep reading. So hope you all enjoy. The spells I listed in Kumaglak's POV are from Harry Potter and you can look them up for their incantations. I do not own Harry Potter.
