When They Become One | Seventeen

One: The Start

"I brought you all here to tell you that you all will be in the same class together this year"

Shock was written all over the thirteen boys' faces, before the sassy chubby boy could say anything the emo looking dude with a deep voice said "How is that possible? We're all different ages", "You're right wonwoo, but you won't studying the things any senior would study," the principal said earning confused reactions from the thirteen boys, the teacher standing next to him chuckled and said "What he meant was that this class will be the school's first class of this kind, the point of this class is to make very different people with different personalities become one unique team" "We tried this with another group of boys a long time ago but failed so we decided to try again with you and if you fail then you fail school" the teacher ended her explanation with a smile causing the long-haired boy and seungkwan to cringe

"So you're saying that you want us to become buddies though I just met them today?" seungcheol finally opened his mouth and said something "Actually you're going to be the leader so you have to be more than that to them," the principal said smiling as if he just did the best thing in the world "But how will I take responsibility of twelve boys that I don't even know?!" seungcheol said demanding for an answer "Well that is for you to figure out, now please go to your new classroom and put your stuff there. Can you please take them there Mrs.Jung?" the teacher standing beside the principal nodded "Follow me please" groans in annoyance we're heard from the thirteen boys as they followed the teacher taking their stuff with them

Once everyone was settled in class, the teacher left without saying anything locking the door and taking the key after her "Did she just lock the door?" the hamster looking boy frowned "That's it I'm done! I'm calling my mom" the youngest shouted clearly freaking out "Chan calm d-" smirking, the Korean-American boy said "no need to call your mom she's right here" seungcheol was standing at the door looking at the mess that was in front of him

A bunch of boys fighting with the two guys trying to stop them, one was reading a book and another was staring blankly at the wall as if he was one, two boys eating each other's faces at the back with a one looking at them disgust, the smiley guy from before approached seungcheol who was still standing at the door "Want to try to calm them down as their leader?" seungcheol had no choice but to that since he was how the "leader"

He went to the front of the class and stood behind the supposed to be the teacher's desk and slammed his hand on the table as hard as he can, in fact, it was too hard that the table now has a line across it. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at their new leader shook, seungkwan was about to say something but stopped himself from doing so cause he was too scared "I think I just peed my pants" chan whispered to himself but the hamster-like boy heard him and tried to stop himself from laughing

"Everyone back to their places, now!" seungcheol said in a commanding tone and everyone was quick to give him what he wanted, the class was now silent and everyone sitting straight looking ahead only "Okay so as we all heard, the principal said that we all have to be one team and if we don't we fail right?" everyone furiously nodded still scared of this leader except for one who was just staring at him in admiration with heart eyes "So that means we have to get to know each other and become close friends. You think that'll happen if all you do fight and eat each other's faces?!" seungcheol scolded them, then made eye contact with the boy that was still staring at him, the two started blushing horribly, the long-haired boy started coughing awkwardly as seungcheol cleared his throat trying to continue his serious talk with his "team"

The boys seemed to have to noticed what just happened between the two, "Jeonghan, Do you two know each other?" jisoo asked looking at the both of them back and forth "n-no" jeonghan answered trying to hide his blushing face "weird" seungkwan mumbled "not as weird as you" "oh shut up" both chan and seungkwan started fighting again causing seungcheol to get mad but instead of yelling like earlier, he went to the two boys and stood behind them, the two stopped earning a small chuckle in satisfaction from seungcheol

Seungcheol went back to the front of the class where he stood before and started speaking again "Since I don't know any of you, how about you introduce yourself? Let's start from here" he pointed at the small guy that was sitting with a guitar next to him "I'm lee jihoon" and that was all the boy said, seungcheol signed to him to continue but he didn't "Okay..um what's your hobby?" "Writing and composing songs" seungcheol nodded and looked at the latter next to him "I'm the Korean-American Hansol Vernon chwe"

Soon almost everyone was done introducing themselves, the only person left was the person seungcheol was the one waiting for the most, it was the long-haired lad "I"m yoon jeonghan and I'm the oldest here, I like designing clothes and Interior designing" jeonghan was done introducing himself, seungcheol didn't say anything and continued starting at jeonghan. A first jeonghan was trying to avoid eye contact but he gave in and made eye contact with seungcheol

The two got lost in each other's stare to the point where seungcheol forgot what he was supposed to say. Until, someone said something causing both of them to snap back to reality, "Y'all sure you don't know each other?" jisoo asked
