When They Become One | Seventeen

Four: Nightmare

As everyone was getting ready for school jihoon and soonyoung decided to look for mingyu and talk to him about what he saw last night. Jihoon went to wonwoo and mingyu's shared room expecting to find him but all he saw was a shirtless wonwoo scrolling through his phone while laying in bed " have you seen mingyu? " " I think he's making breakfast " jihoon nodded and went to the kitchen as soonyoung followed behind him

Once they arrived at the kitchen they saw mingyu making breakfast along with jisoo and minghao, " Mingyu " soonyoung called and the tallest turned around and looked at the direction of the voice his face turned red when he realized who it was " Can we talk? " soonyoung asked, mingyu was hesitant but decided to go with them. The three walked to jihoon and soonyoung's room and closed the door " So um about what you saw yesterday-" " You don't have to explain I just apologize for walking in at you being..in that position.." mingyu apologized as jihoon felt relieved that the youngest in the room didn't want an explanation since he wasn't really ready to tell anyone yet. It's not that he was scared that the others won't accept them but he's just scared that things might not go too well with soonyoung, don't get him wrong he loved soonyoung dearly but the two were still in their first day of their relationship it would be too rushed if they announced it. With that mingyu slightly bowed at the two and left the room, soonyoung looked at jihoon who sighed in relief " you really didn't want to tell him did you?" soonyoung chuckled when jihoon shook his head and gave him a peck ruffling his hair " cute " he mumbled

When seungcheol was finally up, jeonghan decided to go check if everyone else was ready so they can eat breakfast, once he arrived at the living room -where everyone else was sitting- he didn't wee what he hoped to see, Chan was shaking and muttering some words he couldn't understand as seungkwan was hugging him tight trying to calm him down, and Vernon was sitting at the other side of the room looking at the two with sad eyes "What happened?" jeonghan asked worried of what might have happened to their youngest " he had a nightmare " seungkwan answered, jeonghan made his way next to seungkwan and chan " chan..can you look at me? " he said with a soft but worried voice, but chan didn't hear anything he was too busy mumbling some weird things " I-i'm sorry..d-don't hit me " "chan can you please look at me-" as jeonghan approached chan and fried to pat his back chan screamed causing everyone to run to the living room " What's wrong?! " " What happened?! " jeonghan was there in shock of chan's scream as chan pushed seungkwan away and looked at everyone in fear " Don't touch me..d-dont hurt me..please " he yelled then fell to the ground and crie, seungcheol stood up and went to him " Chan no one will hurt you okay? Please look at me " chan looked up slowly and seungcheol gave him a reassuring smile

Chan hugged seungcheol and cried in his shoulders, seungcheol was shocked at first but hugged him back and rubbed his head trying to calm him down, a little bit later chan stopped crying and soft snores were heard from him, the leader smiled and carried him to his, seungkwan, and vernon's shared room and laid him on the bed. Seungcheol went back to the living room and saw everyone was eating in worry with uncomfortable silence until jeonghan spoke up " How is he? Is he okay? Is he still crying?" seungcheol sat down and grabbed a plate " Calm down jeonghan, he's sleeping right now I think he should stay here today " everyone nodded
