I looked up at Rachel and I just felt like we had a connection. Something about her made me feel happy and safe. I felt like I could tell her everything and anything. She turned around from talking to the lady at the counter and smiled at me. Shit shit I was staring at her. "Pinky you want anything to drink, on me", I smiled and said "Aw you don't have to do that". Rachel took her hand in mine and said "My treat". I nodded and order my drink. We waited in silence for our drinks, but it's was comfortable. The lady behind the counter called Rachel's name. I said "I'll get it". I turned to walked away when she grabbed my hand. I turned around and she was staring at me. I asked her if everything was okay when she pulled my into her. She put her hands on cheeks. "Emma get up", That wasn't how I excepted Rachel's voice to sound. In fact I new that voice. Then I was quickly jolted from my wonderful dream when I felt myself shaking. I opened my eyes to see Madison standing over me shaking my shoulders. I groaned, "Get up Emma it's 9:25, your class starts in 20 mins". I quickly snapped out of it and jumped up. I switched my shirt for a different one and put on jeans. Michigan was starting to get cold, but I still had to look cute for my coffee date with Rachel.

I decided it was simple but cute. And I would stay warm. I ran out of my dorm and into class. I made it in seconds before my professor began to talk. I loved this class, but i had a hard time taking Rachel off my mind. The professor concluded his lecture early, around 11:20. I packed up my stuff and looked down at my watch. I was supposed to meet Rachel at 12:05, when her class was over. I had some time to spare so I headed back to my dorm. I walked in and sat on the floor just thinking. I couldn't help but smile the entire time I was talking to her. I read her last text and looked up then out the window behind me and there she was, waving like a fool from outside. I laughed and waved back. She turned and walked for the door. She walked in and she was so much cuter in person.
