We were running like maniacs through the hallway, trying our best to not get caught by Suigetsu and Juugo.
"This way!" Sasuke said while grabbing my arm. Suddenly all the lights went out and we couldn't see where we were going.
"We have to get help!" I said as Sasuke took his cellphone out to use the light. Then after a while he threw it away. "Sasuke-kun what are you doing?!"
"Diversion." He said while both of us went to the other side towards a certain hallway that lead us to the janitor room.
"But your phone!"
"It doesn't matter. Let's go!" He said as he pushed me in and closed the door. The room was extremely small and we were uncomfortable.
And after a while this became really awkward. I was in locked up in the janitor's room with Sasuke-kun!
"Sasuke, how long do we have to-"
"Shhhh!!!" He said while shutting my mouth. I protested at his sudden act but he gave me a warning look.
"Awww man he always does this. What are we gonna tell Orochimaru-sensei?" Suigetsu complained.
"The truth, and face the consequences." Juugo replied.
"Dude you're so honest. Like for real, you need to learn how to lie."
"I know how to lie."
"No you don't!"
"Yes I do."
"Whatever... Let's take Sasuke's phone and give it to him. He'll come for it soon or later." Suigetsu said as they both left.
After a while Sasuke look for a moment and peeked. The lights at the school were still out.
"They're gone." I said in relief. "Now we can go and-"
"We have to stay here." he said. "We don't know if they're still looking for us."
I blinked. "Sasuke-kun are you kidding me? You heard them, they're gone! There's no danger for us. There's no way I'm staying here the entire night!"
"We have to" he said while sighing. "Look, I don't like the idea either but we have to stay here if we want to live."
I ignored him and stood up and walked towards the door. He might be cool, and handsome but no. I'm tired, hungry and I wanna go home!
"I was one of them." He said as I turned around. "I know what they're doing and I know, what they're capable of. So if I wanna stay here the whole night....Don't you think it's for a reason?"
I listened to him for a while. He was one of them? He was a drug dealer? Why? Why he went that way in the first place? And how am I sure he will not harm me while I sleep? What kind of maniac am I dealing with?!
"Fine" I said after thinking for a while. The room was small so I sat next to him. There was a whole silence between us and I was starting to feel sleepy.
"He doesn't deserve her." He said, waking me up. Dang how I hate when people do this...
"What?" I asked.
"Hinata....Naruto doesn't deserve her. She went through so much because of him..." Sasuke said as I looked at him in shock.
"You love her..." I said. "Since when?"
"Ever since we were little kids. The Uchiha and the Hyuga clan have known each other for generations. But we never studied together. Until I met her in preschool." He explained. "I never reached her out. I wasn't focused on that back then. And then he appeared."
I stood still for a while, thinking about Naruto and Hinata's past. "I'm sorry for that. It must've been hard for you. I haven't been in that situation so I don't know how exactly is like."
"Never?"
"Yeah, I've liked guys and had some crushes... but..." I said while lowering my head. "Nobody ever likes me. I'm not that type of girl."
"You should ignore them. You're unique and that's what counts." He said while I gave him a warm smile that he returned slightly.
"Thank you" I said while yawning.
"Go and rest." He replied while looking away, hiding his blush.
