"wha- what!, I was about to go and get a drink with him but you ruined it!" She said almost pouting but then quickly covered her mouth as she turned crimson red, not realising what she said
On the other hand, swift looked confused
"What do you mean go and get a drink with him? And who's him?"
Penny couldn't find the words to say anything, the lump in her throat was stuck, she can't tell him that he, HE was the one who she kept on thinking about
"W-well"
"Here are your drinks cadets" Rhonda chirped coming out from her counter and into their table
"Slick! Thanks Rhonda!"
"My pleasure,and oh penny?"
"hm? Yeah?" She asked while looking up
She whispered something into penny's ear which on cue she turned light pink
"N-no that's not why were actually here" she said with a sheepish smile plastered on her face
"Alright then take care" Rhonda said before walking away leaving the penguin with a smile
Swift was oblivious to what the other pair was thinking even though he felt the same way to her
They had a little chat while eating, some about their adventures, rescues, crazy things happening to rod, brody accidentally breaking the screen monitor of HQ, and getting some good laughs about Thier own experiences, they really had a great afternoon together
Meanwhile at HQ...
"You really must pay for this rod"
"But I didn't do it!, It was the monitors fault, why do I have to pay for it?,and Why can't our parents do it?!"
10 minutes ago
"Ahh time to relax, while watching a movie with my bowl of popcorn and nobody else in the room" he sighed in contentment while picking up the remote
"Ugh why won't this thing turn on, I plugged it in"
The plug: BOI YOU BETTER WATCH ME FIRST!!!
rod then proceeds to kick the monitor in hopes of it turning on, not thinking if he had plugged it or not
"Hey rod what're you-, what are you doing?!" Brody suddenly came out of nowhere
"This monitor won't turn on,why?"
"You did not plug it in!" He reasoned out in a frustrating tone but was struggling to keep himself from laughing
"What happened here?!" Speedy ran over to the boy's
"He happened" Brody said pointing to rod

"Given that you are late teenagers in training, you have to be responsible for everything you do" he said
"Ugh, fine" he finally gave in
"Hey cadets do you hear that whirring sound coming from the kitchen?" Bea added coming out from the other room.She was finished fixing the bed and was found face to face in another problem
"I'll fix this crack in the monitor later, right now what is that whirring sound?"
"Oh ehehe that was the blender that I used to make some shake, turns out I forgot to unplug it"
they all looked at him like he was crazy...
Meanwhile with swift and penny...
The two birds were on Thier way home they decided that they would be on Thier way since it was getting dark and their fellow members were getting worried
Well...what they didn't know is that they were having a bit of trouble back in HQ
*Oooooohhhh!!! that was a great afternoon, I finally got to have a date with him, well sorta since he was the one who asked me first,but I hope we will do that again someday* she thought right beside him
Little did they know that their happiness with each other would be ruined in a few days starting with a certain plan ending to a full blown misunderstanding...
So as you can see, the story doesn't only center to the two pairs, there will also be parts where Brody, rod, speedy and bea would be present, and so will Jack. And I didn't add him here since I figured there would be no other place for him in chapter so I think he would be on the next one
And still the plot is messy and my grammar bad, but still, please don't hate me if you don't like it⊙﹏⊙
