Unexpected Love

Chapter 2 - Strange Behaviour

Sherlock's POV:

When John came back from taking a shower, I acted like nothing had happened, and John also tried to act normal, but I could see that he was still a bit strange.

I switched on the laptop and checked if there were any cases, but strangely there was nothing.

"No cases, John. Looks like we have to find something else for occupation.", I said as he looked at me interrogative.

"Umm okay", he said. "Well it's already late, we could order something to eat"

"Sure", I said. "Pizza?"

He nodded, and so I ordered a pizza.

When we had eaten the pizza we decided to watch a movie. John was horrified because I hadn't watched 'Star Wars' yet, so we watched the first episode.

We decided to sit on the couch, enveloped in blankets and between us there was a bag of crisps.

Surprisingly I liked the movie, so we watched the second episode as well.

Sometimes I looked at John, his hair, his facial feautures, his eyes, all of him and I wanted to memorize all of it. But when John noticed my sights and looked at me I fast looked back to the TV.

When I wanted to grab into the bag of crisps John wanted to do the same, and so my hand crashed into his hand.

He withdraw his hand fast like he had burned it.

"You first", I said and couldn't help but smile.

He saw my smile and somehow looked surprised, but he looked away fast. This night he didn't take some crisps anymore.

When the movie finished it was far past midnight, so we went to bed immediately.

"Good night John", I said when he was about to go to bed.

"Oh yeah, um, good night", he said and went into his room.

Something was strange about John, he was avoiding eye contect with me and I felt like he was avoiding me.

This night I was sitting in my armchair for a long time, thinking about what I maybe had done to annoy John.

For a moment the thought, the reason for John's strange behaviour could be because he was in love with me, but again it sounded so weird to me that I immediately forgot it.

I don't know when I felt asleep, but it was really late.
