Unexpected Love

Chapter 5 - Awkward staring

Sherlock's POV:

I went into the kitchen for making some tea. I was still confused because of my feelings, but I just tried to forget them.

After a while John came also into the kitchen, he had just taken a shower, and went to the hotplate for making him some tea as well.

I didn't see him coming, so when I turned around I bumped into him, our faces only a few centimeters apart from each other's face.

"Um..sorry", I said and my heart begun to beat fast as I looked into his face.

"No problem", he said, blushing a bit but staring back into my eyes.

We stood there, staring in each other's eyes, for a long time. When I had bumped into John I had grabbed his shoulders, and I was still holding them.

It was a wonderful moment, staring in his eyes, and seeing him staring back. We could've stand there for ages, but then we heard some steps on the staircases.

"Good morning! I brought you some..." Mrs. Hudson stopped dead in her tracks.

We spun around, John blushing from embarrassment.

"What are you doing?", she asked after a moment of surprise.

"We were...um...we were...", John begun to explain.

"...making some tea.", I finished his sentence, giving Mrs. Hudson a comforting smile.

"Yes, of course you were.", Mrs. Hudson said and the irony in her voice was unmistakeable. "Well, I brought you some cookies, I'm gonna put them on the table."

John cleared his throat. "Thank you very much, Mrs. Hudson."

"Have fun!", she said, laughing and giving us a meaningful glance. Then she left our flat.

We were both a bit shocked, but when we had a look at each other we bursted into a laugh.

"That was...", John said, still laughing hard.

"Yeah, you're right." I was also laughing really hard, this had been the most awkward situation I've even experienced.

But secretely I was a bit sad that Mrs. Hudson had interrupted that wonderful moment, it had been so gorgeous looking into his eyes.

Meanwhile I was sure that that thing that I was feeling when I was arond him wasn't only friendship, it was more.

It was love.

So, I did my best and updated my story, even if this chapter isn't that long :) Tomorrow's friday and then it's finally WEEKEND! Yeah *-* I haven't planned anything for the weekend (Apart from learning ugh -.- ) so I will have plenty of time for updating :D
