Unexpected Love

Chapter 9 - This is what I've always wanted

Sherlock's POV:

I had taken John's face into my hands and I was forcing him to look me into the eyes.

It seemed that this had been easy for me but I had needed a lot of overcoming for doing that. And when I had John's face in my hands my heart was pounding like mad and I couldn't think straight.

John asked me what I was doing but I put him to silence with a "Shhhh".

Then I cleared my throat and begun to speak.

"First I wanna say that this is really hard for me and I need a lot of overcoming for saying this to you. I have...observed you the last weeks, how you behave, especially how you behave with me. And because I had analyzed it well I have the guts to tell this to you. Well....I don't know how to say it, I....I feel...too."

The last words weren't more than a whisper.

When I saw that John's eyes were wide opened in surprise I made a step back and took my hands from his cheeks.

"I'm such an idiot. Why would you ever love me, I'm so riddiculous.", I said, my cheeks turning bright red with embarrassment.

But when I wanted to rush out the room John took my arm and turned me towards me.

"Sherlock, you...you're not wrong. You...were right. With everything", he said. "I am in love"

"I...I don't know what to say", I said, surprised at his affection.

"I do.", he said and then he put his hands on my cheeks. "I love you, Sherlock Holmes."

I hold my breath, but then a smile lighted up my face.

Slowly our faces were moving towards each other's, and then our lips touched.

This was the most wonderful moment in my life. This kiss is the kiss I would always remember.

The taste of his lips was so good, and I couldn't get enought of it. First we just kissed gently but then it got a more passionate kiss. While we were kissing my heart was racing and I couldn't think straight anymore. We couldn't get enough of each other's lips, but after a long time we were running out of air and we had to breathe so we moved apart.

My forehead was still resting on his forehead, his hands still on my cheeks and we were staring into each other's eyes. John's sight was full of emotions, full of love and his cheeks were red, but I was sure my cheeks didn't look different.

"I love you too, John. I...I love you with all my heart and I will never stop loving you."

When I said these words John had to smile, and I smiled back.

I put one hand on his shoulder, the other on his cheek.

Then I kissed him again, our lips wanting more and more. John moved one hand from my cheek and ran it through my curls. With my hand on his shoulder I pulled him closer, so close as possible. I was totally sunk in this kiss and I couldn't enough of it, and while we were kissing my heart was racing again.

This is what I've alyways wanted, someone who I could love and who would love me back just like I was, with all my strange and demanding behaviours.

This is what I've always wanted. I have found the love of my live.

It was really fun to work on this ff and I'm kinda proud how it went. And I NEVER thoguth that anyone would read this, so again thank you for all the reads :*

But it's kinda sad that this ff is finished, now I have no story anymore which I can continue.

Johnlock is just so cute *-* I have another idea for a Johnlock ff but I'm not sure if I can start writing it today bc of school, we have lots of class test next week so I will be busy with maths -.- But I promise I'll do my best ^^
