I glanced over at the door from the couch when i heard it open, Kaleb walked in setting in his backpack down on the floor.

"You've been gone a while, exploring the city?" I questioned.

"I went to a park," He answered.

      "Oh?"

"Wanted to pick up the pencils," Kaleb said, opening the fridge.

"You know I have never actually seen any of your work," I pondered, stadning up, "I mean I saw the stuff you had for assisngments but not what you keep in that book."

"That's because they're for me, my eyes only."

      I nodded, "Fair enough."

The dooor and opened and Lucy came in, a slightly bewildered look across her face, "Um," she looked bewtween Isaac and I, "can we talk for a second."

      I frowned, "Yeah.'

I led her into my room and shut the door, "What is it?"

"They're in town, if not now then soon. Very soon."

My breath hitched in my throat, it had been so long. So long since we had to deal with this mess.

"What did you see?" I asked.

"It was a bit scattered: I saw an alley, you, me, Harper...and Kaleb."

       I frowned, "Kaleb?"

She inhaled sharply, "Yeah I guess we all plan to go out soon, anyway, there were four of them. I think they were trying to get all of us at once."

"That's not normal, it's always one or none with them."

She shrugged, "Something's different this time."

"Okay we need to tell Harper."

"So what was the fuss about yesterday?" Kaleb asked me.

I looked up from my coffee cup, quickly coming up with a lie, "Oh something with Lucy's bank account."

"Something Harper could help with?" He questioned suspiciously.

"Yep, she's good with that stuff."

      "Oh yeah?"

He chuckled a bit, You're a horrible liar."

I sighed, "It's private okay? Nothing to concern yourself with."

I rolled my eyes, dumping the rest of my coffe out in the sink, I retreated next door to see Harper, she smiled as I walked in.

      "Want some breakfast?" She asked.

       "I'm good," I answered.

"That's right you don't like to eat breakfast," she licked the excess butter off of her knife, "I almost forgot."

I shrugged, "I don't know what it is."

She nodded, "You do, you don't like to talk about it."

      "You know me too well."

Harper continued to eat her breakfast as I walked over to the window in her living room, the view from the side was much better than mine. Vastness of the water and the faint view of Mount Rainer, mine looked more so over the city.
