Lydia POV

" school will start in a couple of days " Father said

" oh I'm so excited , how about you sister " Catherine said

" yes I'm excited too " I said smiling

" how are your studies Lydia " father ask

Lydia's father always pushed her to be the perfect child. Even when there was no school she was given a teacher to teach her everyday.

Recently I haven't been doing my studies well because I know what there teaching me. Hello I'm a college student I know this stuff. I took history in college. I wanted to be teacher.

" yes I have been doing it " I said monotone

He scoffs and talks to Catherine. I sit quietly eating. It was still early Lawrence will be coming over later.

Now that I think about it where is the prince. He didn't visit me when I was drowning. Usually Lydia goes over there and visits his place. It's been awhile since I been there. I know I will be seeing him at the school. Then he sees Catherine and falls in love with her blah blah blah.

Maybe I should go visit the town , check out my escape plan. Though maybe it's better to cancel the engagement first. Well I wanna see the town first.

" father I'm going out " I said

" ah she's going back to bother the prince again , fine go ahead " he said the first party quietly and the last part loud

" oh sister can I come too " Catherine said cheerfully

" oh about next time " I smile at her

She pouts but wishes me goodbye while father continues to eat. I leave the room and head to the carriage. Before I get in I look at the one driving us.

" father said yes to going to town " I said smiling

" oh did he really okay then ready miss Lydia " he said

I smile and hop into the carriage. Hey it's not a lie , I'm going out but not to see the prince. Plus I never said where I was going. Watching my fathers land slowly distant. I never realized how big his land was.

I change into commoner clothes. If I'm being honest I liked there clothes too. The corsets the fact they didn't have to do it to tight or wear one at all. My favorite all in all.

" miss Lydia we are here " he said

He opens the door and his eye wide at was the beautiful dress on the floor.

" come back here in let's say 4 hours , thank you " I said

I hop out the carriage and I smile at the beautiful buildings. Again the game did not give enough credit for this place. It felt like old times it was beautiful. Kids were playing with friends running.

The town was beautiful , just like what you would imagine. I spin around and genuinely feel at home. I walk around more and many people welcomed me with open arms.

There were many places , I wanted to try all of them but for now let's focus on my run away. I walk around and see a inn maybe it's an apartment.

" hello miss how can I help you today " she smiles warmly

" good morning , how much to stay for a couple days or can you live here " I ask

" you can live here , it's 15 gold a month miss " she said

" how wonderful , I'm thinking of moving so maybe this is the place it's just I'm not ready to move yet " I said

" oh we will save a place for miss just write down your name and it will save if you don't come back in a few months we will have to put someone's name okay " she smiles

I write down my name in some book and wave goodbye. I leave the building and see people are setting shop. Must be a small festival how nice.

I've saved up money from the time I was here. Father gave Lydia money so he doesn't get bothered by her so I saved up enough so save me maybe 3 years. I look at the stands. So many exotic things. Not like at home. These were different.

In one stand I see a little girl staring at a beautiful necklace.

" brother brother that's mother's necklace " she said

" sorry but when we get more money we can get it back okay let's go home now okay Alice " the older brother smile sadly

The brother leaves and the girl walks to her brother. I went to the shop keep and ask how much the necklace was.

" it's about 5 slivers miss " she smiles

" I will take it " I take the necklace and give her the money

She smiles happily and waves me goodbye happy with the business she made with me. I walk around and find the girl sitting on a box and her brother is getting a book.

" hi " I said sitting next to her

" hello " she smiles

" I heard this is for you , don't lose it okay " I smile giving her the necklace

She gasps and holds it. Then tries to give it back. I immediately leave and she sees me leave.

" Alice where did you get that " he said

" that pretty lady she gave it to me " she said

I immediately hop into the crowd hoping he doesn't see me. I stare at other shops in awe with the beautiful colors.

That's when a beautiful bracelet catches me eyes

" are you interested miss " the old lady said

" it's caught my eye  " I said looking

" this color red meaning strength, power, determination as well as passion. If it caught your eyes you must have it. It's fated with you " she rushes the bracelet to me

" please let me pay " I said

" no no it's fate , I can see the look in your eyes it's meant for you " she said

I smile and thank her multiple times before I look at the time and see it's time to go. I head back to where I got dropped off and the carriage is there.

" hello miss Lydia how was the trip " he ask smiling

" beautiful " I said looking back
