Vincent , that last person I wanted to see. He starts at me like I'm not there. My heart begins to ache at how I ended things with Vincent. That's when he walks over it me.
" Vincent " I said
" angeline did I do something , was it me " he said
I stay quiet , I can't lie. I'm scared he was gonna leave me or kill me off.
" after all the bad things I did , I thought you would leave me so I just left. I couldn't handle the pain so I just left " I said
" but I would never leave you. You saved my brother that day. You have grown and matured so much " he puts a piece of hair behind my ear
" how are they " I ask
I stare at the piano. My heart aches when I actually wanted to ask how was he.
" Do you not like the idea of being the queen of this place " he said
" It's not that , it's just that I'm not perfect for that role. You know me , I'm sure there's someone els- "
" It's you , your perfect for that role more than anyone " he interrupts me
I look down fiddling with my fingers. He lifts his finger to my chin and makes me face him.
