"You know that you are extra glowy today. Anything special" Emily ask Veronica while she was on the moon. She was happy, extremely happy. These days were less in her life where she truly is happy. She was staring at the box placed on the table and tightly holding a scrambled paper in her hand. For her today everything was out of blue. She wanted to jump and dance with the beat which was playing in her heart. She was happy and why not, after all, it's a wedding day. Actually, it was her wedding day...

A few hours earlier:

Ding dong!!

"Emily can't you just go and check the door" Veronica shout from inside her room.

"No! no! baby, I'm extremely busy," she said while painting her toenails.

"You always do that" Veronica say and went out to open the front door. There was no one on the door but on the doorstep was a box and a letter attached to it. She picked the box and enter the house.

"Emily did you order somethin' Veronica asked her.

" No" she carelessly answers her while her sole focus was the nail toe she was painting.

"So this is your very important work," Veronica asked her when she observed what she was doing on her white couch.

"Yeah it's very important, bruh!" she said.

Veronica takes the box and angrily entered her room. She was going to throw the box in the trash bin when the initial on the letter caught her attention

From: "M.G"
To: Verna Stiles

She unwraps the box and saw a white floral dress but at the first sight, she knew that it's not branded even then she finds the dress very special, than all her branded dresses she daily wears. She opens the letter and it was a short one or you can say more like her wedding invitation.

"I got your letter. It's a yes. Wear this dress and meet me tomorrow at 10:00 am at church address is on the back page"

                                                Love
                                                Mark

She was in shock. No details nothing. It was confusing but of course, she knew that she was the one to send a proposal letter now she can't say no or back out but this was it and she didn't know herself why it is so. From the last meeting with him whenever she thinks of her life partner her heart gives approval to the only men in her life "Mark Gabriel" and he's the only one out there who knows the truth her truth apart from Emily of course.

Without waiting a second she rushes to her dressing and changes into the dress Mark selects for her. And the dress perfectly fits her. She felt comfortable and at ease and she was already loving his choice and her wedding dress.

Present:

"I think the address is incorrect,"  Veronica thought. she was standing in front of a building. In a normal locality. The apartments were not so big she knows that because she lives in a one which was thrice bigger than this. She asked the receptionist where was the church, which was mentioned in the paper. She guides her the way and it was within walking distance.

The place was beautiful no doubt. Flowers were everywhere. Simple but aesthetic. The place reminds her of his father. The calmness of the place held some magic. she felt it. Some kind of peace was there for which she urges for years. In her own trance, she entered the floral garden of the church and settle on the bench. She was so carried away that she even forget the reason why was she there. Her father, her childhood, and her mother touch everything that was there with her at the moment. No pain just love. The love she was brought up with. The love was because of her father. His death, one sudden incident change it all for both her mother and her.  Some phases of life are the worst tragedies. You want to delete that phase of life but you can't, neither you can bear it. The loss of life, than of a father the support system of a daughter is painful and unforgettable.  Everything was a dream she knew that and will disappear when she gets back to her life. In her thoughts, she didn't acknowledge a shadow tilted in front of her.

Then she felt a hand on her cheeks wiping her tears. Yes, she was crying but for how long she didn't remember.

"You crying! why?" He asked and her trance broke.

She was staring at the person but was tongue-tied......
