"Hey, Jotaro. Wake up."

Jotaro opened his eyes. Kakyoin was next to him, sitting down on the floor by his bedside. He was still dressed in the clothing Jotaro gave him. It was dark outside.

"Kakyoin? What time is it?"

"2 in the morning. I can't sleep."

"Okay. Why not?" Jotaro nearly closed his eyes.

"I'm scared to be alone. I don't feel like sleeping. And I want to do something with you. Something I always wanted to do."

"And what would that be?"

"I wanna go for a walk with you. I know it's really late but can we?"

Jotaro sighed. "Yeah. But we gotta be quiet when we leave. Let me change into something more suitable."

Kakyoin left for a brief moment. Jotaro came out with his signature jacket and hat. "Lets go."

They left the house quietly. They were in the city walking around. Nobody was out at this hour. As they were walking, Kakyoin reached his hand over to Jotaro. Jotaro grabbed it back. Kakyoin squeezed it.

"Jotaro?"

"Hm?"

"Follow me."

Kakyoin started walking faster and they got to a bridge. The bridge was about ½ of a mile long and really wide. Below it was the river. The moon's light was reflecting on the water. You could see the tall skyscrapers and the streetlamps that glowed. It was a clear sky.

"Isn't it all pretty?" Kakyoin began to tear up. "It's beautiful. You can even see the stars."

"Kakyoin? What's wrong? Are you crying?"

Kakyoin conintued to cry and talk as if he didn't hear him. "It was really nice to meet you. I had fun today, or yesterday now. You made the last few days, the best I could ever ask for."

"Kakyoin you're scaring me."

"Look up at the stars? Do you see something?"

Jotaro looked up. "No I don't.-" He looked back and saw Kakyoin had gotten to the other side of the railing and was holding on to it. If Kakyoin fell, he would die before he hit the water.

"When I die, don't cry, just look at the sky and say goodbye."

"KAKYOIN!"

Jotaro ran over to reach for him and Kakyoin let go. Kakyoin closed his eyes as he fell backwards, facing Jotaro with his hands reaching out. He smiled with tears going down his face. Time felt as if it was in slow motion.

Kakyoin could only see darkness and thought he was gonna die.

That was until he felt something grab hold of him. It was Jotaro.

"Kakyoin!"

Kakyoin opened his eyes. Tears poured out. "Jotaro why?"

"Isn't it obvious. I care about you. Holly cares about you. Jiji cares about you. Your classmates care about you! So many people would grieve if you died! You would be hurting so many people! And I will say it again! I CARE. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU!"

Jotaro pulled Kakyoin up and got him back on the bridge. "Are you dense? You scared me Kakyoin! I really thought I was about to lose you! You are the only friend I have! I'm not gonna let go of you. I'll never stop caring about you. I accept you no matter what."

Kakyoin suddenly broke down and gave out onto the bridge. "I'm so sorry. Those thoughts won't leave me alone. When I'm around you they disappear. They got to the best of me tonight. I just thought I should end it but I didn't want to be alone when I did so I brought you here with me! I really don't deserve someone like you. How do you call me your friend?"
