Chapter 2

I woke up in a cold sweat. I was so tired of having this dream. "Why me" I said as i looked at the clock. Its was 7:30am on a Saturday morning. I got up and jumped into the shower again. I began scrubbing my body because I still felt dirty as hell. I sat there for a bit just letting my the water her my body. Tears started to fall and then turned into a slow cry. Suddenly I hear a knock on the door.

"Jinx are you OK?" Jessica asked

"Yeah, I'll be out in a few." I said trying to sound as happy as I could be. I shut off the water and grabbed my towel to dry off and walked into my room to get dressed. I walked over to my calendar to count the days left till my 16th birthday when a note written on it caught my eye.  How could I possibly forget today was the day of my mother return. I began getting my clothes together so I could get the house work together before she got here and seen how messy things were. Luckily i had most of the day to do it all before she got home.

"Jessica I need your help please." I said while putting on my grey sweats and a big black long sleeve shirt.

"What's up?" the little munchkin said while walking into my room.

"Well you know moms coming home today so i was wondering if you could help clean the house with me, you clean your room I'll clean mine and we could do the kitchen together?" I turned to looked at her while turning it into a question even though I already knew her answer.

"OK but only if you give me some pancakes for breakfast" she replied.

"Of course you silly girl" I said as i began to tickle her.

Now Jessica still has no earthly idea what went down that day and still doesn't nor will she ever. I love my little sister so much I would do anything for her even if that means protecting her from that disgusting monster. Ever since that day me and her have been inseparable except when we go to school or she goes to a friends but as long as she was safe I had no worries. Jessica is 10 years old with dark brown curly hair, hazel eyes that anyone could love and the prettiest little smile that could change any ones perspective on life. If it wasn't for her I don't know what I would do. We finally finished cleaning our rooms and was about to head to the kitchen when monster called me.

"Jannali, can i speak to you for a few minutes?" he said loudly.

"Here I come." I replied "Jessica you go ahead and start without me i'll be down in a second." I told Jessica as i watched her go ahead without me. I slowly turned around and almost jumped out my skin to see him behind me as close as he was.

"Your mother comes home today so I thought i would just like to remind you not to tell her what has been going on, OK?" he said sternly

"I remember and I won't tell anyone." I said looking down at the ground

"Good because I would hate to have to bring little miss Jessie into this picture." he said while getting closer. "It's a shame I don't get to do what I want right now, your lucky I have to go pick up your mother." he then took in my scent and kissed me and walked out the door into the car.

"Sick bastard!" I said while walking to the kitchen. "Wow your all done Jessica. I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you do it all" I said pretending to look sad.

"It's alright don't be sad I only did it all because you made me breakfast." She replied while grabbing my hand. All the cleaning was done she did a great job. We left the kitchen to go to the living room to watch some TV.

"Can we watch cartoons" Jessica asked.

"Sure, anything for you" I said and kissed her forehead. We began watching to TV and then turned on a movie to pass the time when the front door opens.

"Mommy!" Jessica squealed

"Hi darling, Did you miss me?" our mother asked

"Yes momma don't ever leave me again." she demanded while holding on tight to her like she didn't want to let her go. I got off the couch and walked over to join them.

"OK baby i won't." she said hugging her back. "Hi Jannali how is my soon to be 16 year old" she asked getting up to hug me.

"Great no that your home, Jessica and I have missed you soooo much" I said hugging trying to hold back the tears.

"Somethings different about you, are you alright baby?" she said looking concerned

I then looked at my monster hoping she didn't catch on and saw him glaring at me like he would pounce if I said anything. I then looked back at my mother.

"Yeah i'm fine momma."

Well that's the end of chapter 2. Sorry if it was boring. I just had to bring their mother home. 'm thinking about revealing the monster next chapter any ideas. Well comment and vote please this is only going to get more juicier. :) -CAShndSTYLES
