Chapter 5

Uh oh. That's crazy right...well what's gonna happen?

Rain's P.O.V.

"Well what do they say?" I asked in a more serious tone.

"I'm pregnant!" she said beginning to cry. I didn't know what to say, all I knew was I was furious as hell. I grabbed her hand and tried to comfort her but nothing was working.

"We have to tell your mother" I said while putting her in her bed and tucking her in. "And don't worry Mark will get what is coming to him." She looked at me and grabbed my hand as I was getting up to walk away.

"We can't tell her it will only make things worst and break her heart." she said almost in a whisper.

"What do you mean, are you crazy? We have to tell her. It's your only way to get him out of your lives for good.The truth has to come out Jinx. Let me put it this way if you don't tell her I will!" I said being blunt and to the point. She needed to hear the truth.

She looked at me knowing she could not win this battle. "Fine, but we have to wait till Mark leaves for his business trip tonight, but could you do it with me?" she asked

"Of course I will. I wouldn't leave you at a time like this. I said

Jannali's P.O.V.

Rain stayed with me all day like she said she would. She fed me soup that she made using her mom's recipe, and even walked to the store to get me some ginger ale to settle my stomach. She was truely an amazing friend and I loved her to bits. It was finally time for Mark to leave so we made aour way down the stairs.

"Bye eveyone see you in a couple of days." he said glaring at me especially.

"Bye hunny have a safe trip." my mom said to him before giving him a kiss. We watched him leave and shut the door. Here's my chance I thought. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom cleaning the kitchen.

"Mom, can we talk to you for a minute?" I said nervously thinking maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.

"Sure honey." she respondedJessica was upstairs getting ready for bed so I didn't have to worry about her listening to our conversation.

"Well I don't know how to tell you this so maybe you should sit down to hear this." I said motioning to the kitchen table. She hesitated a bit but went and sat in the stool.

"What's this about Jinx?" she asked looking at both me and Rain.

"Well mom, I'm pregnant." i said showing her the test I had taken earlier in the day. I began crying and hoping she wouldn't ask who the father was.

"Whose the father Jannali?" she asked with anger in her eyes.

Damn I thought to myself. I looked down shameful about what was about to come out of my mouth.

"Mark." I blurted out. My mother began laughing and got back up to finish what she had started.

"Why are you laughing Mrs. Davis? Rain asked

"Because for a second there I thought I heard her say Mark as in my husband. You guys are funny." my mother said.

"Thats because that is what she said. She said Mark." Rain said. My mother then did the unthinkable that not only confused me but also confused Rain too.

"Now look here you ungrateful brat. I know that you don't like Mark. You never have but i will not hear of such nonsense. Mark is my husband whether you like it or not, and he would do no such thing. He has given us an amazing life and I will not let you take that away from us." she said pointing her finger in my face. "And another thing don't you ever pull a stunt like this again!" she said grabbing the test out of my hand and throwing it away.

"But Mrs. Davis..." Rain said trying to explain the situation for me but was cut off.

"Rain I think it is time for you to go home. It is getting late and Jannali needs to get some sleep." She motion for me to go upstairs. I ran out the kitchen and to my room. I heard the front door shut so Rain must of left. How could she not believe me. How could she take his side I thought to myself. I had so much hurt and hatred right now so I went to my bathroom and cut my other wrist. After about an hour of crying in my bathroom I went to my bedroom and laid down. I got my fone and texted Rain.

The next morning it all happened again. I woke up to the smell of food and had to run straight to the bathroom to throw up. I guess my mother heard me because in a matter of seconds she was at my door telling me to get ready.

"Get dressed we're going to the doctors office." she yelled thru my door. I quickly texted rain and told her to get my home and that I was going to the doctors. She quickly texted back.

I got dressed in my black holey skinny jeans and threw on my white and black hoodie with my black chuck taylors and met my mom downstairs. We got to the doctors officeand waited my turn.

Mom's P.O.V.

I could barely sleep last night after what Jannali and Rain told me, but it was a good thing I kept that doctors appointment because Jannali was up this morning at it again. We sat in the waiting room and had been waiting for 45 minutes when the nurse finally called.

"Jannali Williams." The petite nurse called

"Here we come" I said grabbing Jannali's hand and walking with her. I'm sure she felt like she was five when i did that but I had to because she wasn't moving fast enough.

"Hello Mrs. Davis, Jannali. How are you doing today?" the nurse questioned.

"We are good but I think Jinx here has the stomach virus or something because she's been throwing up the past couple of days." I answered

"Oh what a shame. Ok well I'll be right back we will have to run some test on her." the nurse replied "I'll be back in a few to get you Jannali."

Moments later they came to get Jannali and run her test. An hour later she still hadn't returned. Another hour still nothing and I was beginning to worry. Just as I was about to peek out the door the doctor and Jinx were walking in.

"Well that was a long time is everything alright doctor?" I questioned looking to see Jannali's eyes puffy and red. I knew she must have been crying.

"Mrs. Davis, may I speak with you in the hall?" The doctor asked

"Yea sure." I said as we walked into the hall.

"Mrs. Davis, we ran a few test on Jannali and the results are in my hand here, but first I would like to say we ran a pregnancy test and a rape kit on her." the doctor said.

"Rape kit?" I said wide eyed.

"Yes ma'am. She said she had been raped." He said looking confused by my confusion. I was beginning to get furious until the doctor told me to calm down. "Let's get back to Jannali shall we?" We walked back in the room and i glared at Jinx as he opened the envelope to read the results. I just wish she would stop her foolishness.

"Jannali your pregancy test came back positive, and says you are a month. As for your rape kit it does say you have been raped and more then once I might add." I doctor said I turned to look at the doctor in shock. 

"Can I see the results please?" I said hoping he read it wrong. Jinx had started to cry even louder.

"I'll give you two some time alone." the doctor said exiting the room. I ran over to Jinx and held her in my arms. "I'm so sorry baby. I should of listened to you last night.I should have known you would never lie to me about something like that. I am so sorry." we began crying together.

Wow. I know this chapter sucked don't be mad and I know you are probably wondering when Harry is coming into the story well don't worry he will be soon. :)
