After a few hours of being smushed on the train with multiple other people I finally came to a stop in a city that was a good few miles away from my city. As I got off the train I started looking around for a hotel to stay in, i didn't want something super fancy or expensive, but I also didn't want something super cheap that had bed bugs all over the place.

It took a few hours of walking around to find a hotel that was cheap but actually worthy of the price. The hotel in question had a sticker outside the window saying it was rated five stars on yelp and google, although that had little importance to me. The actual building in question was maybe five-seven stories high and was made of red bricks.

The inside was nicely decorated and followed a red and yellow theme in the lobby, even the workers wore suits that had red and yellow on them. Immediately upon entering a worker at the desk gave me a small smile and asked if I was here to buy a room or already pre-ordered one.

"I want to buy a room, how much would that cost?" I answered. "About 90 per night for one bed." The person answered. "Perfect. Do you mind telling me how many floors this hotel has?" The person behind the counter nodded their head, giving me a questioning glance. "Yes, eight including the lobby. Is there a floor you'd prefer to be on?"

"Yes, can I get a room on the sixth floor just for tonight?" At my words the person behind the counter started typing away on their computer before grabbing a room key from behind them. "You are just in luck! A young gentleman just checked out of room 29!" I couldn't help but tense at her words, and apparently the worker noticed.

"Is there anything wrong?" I chuckled nervously, trying to come up with a cover. "Oh, um... did he buy any chance have pins on his clothes?" The worker tilted her head before shaking her head slowly. "No.. why?" Scratching the nape of my neck I quickly just covered up with the first thing that came to mind.

"Ah, he's a crazy ex of mine." The worker gave me a sympathetic look before asked if she needed to watch out for him. "Yes, if you see a man with pins in his clothes can you not mention me? It was a really tough thing for him and he's been dead set on getting me back."

"No need to worry ma'am/sir, I'll keep an eye out. I'm so sorry you have to deal with him pestering you." The person said, handing me my key. I quietly thanked the person before heading up to my room, being very thankful of the fact Illumi hadn't stayed in the same room I was about to.

The elevator ride to my floor was short, and once I actually got into my room I was very pleased. Right as you walked in to the left was the bathroom and right across from the door was a balcony, letting off a beautiful sight of the city. Walking in further there was a queen sized bed that sat across from a small tv. Right next to the tv was a desk that had a computer on it.

The sat my bag down before walking over to the computer and pulling out my hunters license. Inserting it into the computer i then went on the hunters website to see if i could find information on myself, I knew that Illumi had a hunters license so checking to make sure he couldn't find any info on me by using it would be very refreshing.

As I searched I could only find stuff about my previous apartment address and my works as a hunter. Upon seeing this I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding while sinking into my chair slightly.

I glanced at the time to see it was very late, so I turned off all the lights, put my hunters license up, and closed the curtains before laying down in bed. Almost immediately as my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.

As much as I needed the sleep I woke up not even five hours later out of a bad dream. The dream in question consisted of me running from a person with long black hair through the woods. Right before his hand touched my shoulder I jolted awake.
