I had been two-three months in of going MIA, and by now I've learned multiple new card tricks that Hisoka used to show me around the first time he took the hunter exam. At one point I debated on telling Hisoka about these new abilities, but if I did he'd probably pop a boner and ask if I was still thinking about him all this time.
'Yea.. that's the last thing i need.' I thought to myself, before plopping down at the base of a tree. The sky at this point was turning a pinky tone as the sun was setting. Creating a beautiful sight. I let my mind wonder to all of the time I had spent wondering around.
After I left my first stop it took me three weeks to find another place to stay at. I went through a similar process as I did at my first stop. Stay a night at the hotel, tour, find a weapon, stay one more night, then leave. I had gotten two very pretty swords during this adventure to match the knife the one man had given me. And I was lucky enough that the one guy made me a cover for my sword that also matched the holster. The only difference being that there was orchids all around the cover.
About a week after that I found a more rule area, I decided to stay there for a three-ish days. There wasn't much to explore, so for the most part I just slept, ate, and trained my nen and card abilities. The first day I arrived however I had requested a gun and holster to match my other two weapons, it took the gun-shop owner all three days to finish my gun, but when he did I was not disappointed. He even made me some fancy shells to match the gun, and although I could use them for battle I decided I would save them for special uses only.
Lastly I found another city one month later. Even though it was very risky, I had decided I would go fight at heavens arena, but stop before I got to the 200th floor. To be fair, those three-ish months (and some change) of hardly any interactions or fights was getting under my skin. And if I could not only relive some of that stress, but also gain money from it, then it was a win in my book.
I had heard previously that dorm floors 1-199 you were not aloud to have weapons, so I had already booked a hotel room and left my belongings in there. And now that was where I currently was, waiting in line to get myself a number. The line wasn't too long, but it definitely wasn't short either, it took about 30-40 minutes before I met the lady at the front desk. "Hello ma'am/sir/person, what can I do for you today?"
"I would like to enroll please." She gave me a smile, her lip gloss shining slightly from the bright white lights in the room. "Sure thing! We need you to fill out the basic form as well as a waver and then I can get you all settled up!" She told me, then handed me the required paper work.
I sat down at a seat in the lobby and started filling out the paper work. The first question had asked for my preferred name/stage name. I decided that it would be a smart idea to use a fake name for now. So I simply put 'Rose' for my first name and 'Orchid' for my stage name. I left the spot for my middle and last name blank.
Then everything else I filled out truthfully. My date of birth, blood type, emergency contact info, etc. Then I had to read through a long list of terms and conditions before stating I agreed with them, after words i read through the waver which was just stating that any damage to person or property was not to be held against the company. And if an accident were to occur Heavens Area will not pay for any medical treatment or funeral arrangements. I signed my "name" at the bottom before standing up and returning the papers to the lady.
"Thank you, here's your badge! You can go and wait in that room up-ahead and wait for your number to be called." She gave me a friendly smile while handing me a black and white badge that said '3,789'.
I followed her directions and waited for my number to be called. It took a long while, but eventually I was called to fight number '7,244' on stage 9. When I got onto the stage I saw a 6-7 foot tall man, he looked completely buffed out and had tattoos all over his body. Upon seeing me, the male laughed. "I'd back out now if I where you! I don't want to crush you too badly."
