I woke up and my whole entire body felt sore and tired, I let out a groan as I attempted to move my hands to rub the sore muscles throughout my entire body, but when I tried my hands were stopped by something holding them back.

I could barely open my eyes but feeling the cold metal press roughly against my skin and hearing the chains clicking together I assumed my arm was holstered up by the said chain. I squinted my eyes open just barely to see that my other arm and both of my legs were also attached to the wall that kept me up. The chains were also attached higher up on the wall, which were also connected to me by my wrists and ankles.

My legs looked completely and utterly terrible, there were cuts and scrapes and bruises littering both of them, dried blood covering most of the wounds while some fresh blood leaked out of a few others. My arms weren't in any better condition. I wouldn't doubt that I maybe broke or tore multiple things throughout my body.

Letting out a large sigh I held my head low in shame. I was so stupid, for being one of the most renowned bounty hunters you'd think I would know better than to wait for the prey to catch me...

I still had a vague idea of what happened earlier; although I don't know how long I had been out, and surely the hit messed with my brain, I knew that I ran away through the woods which was how I obtained most of the injuries. And then i got caught and Illumi had knocked me out.

Digging through my brain at the very vague memories I was able to piece together that I ran for almost an entire day, because by the time my head was it the surrounding area was pitch black.

Suddenly a giant creaking came from my left, making me whip my head up too fast, causing me to let out a small groan. I heard heals click against the white flooring, and as the person entered the room illuminated in bright white lights, causing me to squint my eyes and the pounding in my head to increase.

With every rhythmic click of the persons heals my anxiety increased, it didn't help that I couldn't properly open my eyes yet at the sudden intrusion of light hitting every corner of the pearly white room.

When the door clicked shut so did the heals stop. I took a second for my eyes to properly adjust, blinking rapidly in hopes that it would clear my vision sooner. Of course looking back on this I would find that this hardly did anything but take me a few seconds longer to adjust the the lights.

Before my eyes could even properly adjust however, I heard the deep monotone voice that I knew all too well. "Do you remember what I told you?" His voice alone was enough to make me stiffen and rack my brain to try and find some recognition of what had happened the previous night.

After a few seconds, he spoke up again. "Hmm.. it seems you don't recall.." he trailed off, turning around and taking one step towards the table at the other side of the room which was lined with weapons.

My eyes widened subconsciously and I tried to reach a hand out to stop him, being held back by the chain I used my voice instead. "Wait! W-wait! Just give me a few more minutes! I almost remembered!" Of course that was a lie. The only events I could recall was me running away from Illumi at the dock and then getting knocked upside the head, but my words were enough to make Illumi stop mid-stride.

He turned back around to me, staring at me dead in the eyes. It felt like an eternal hell with his burning gaze piercing every inch of my body. It was almost as if a thousand tiny needles were using me as a pin-cushion. All of that was over though as Illumi shifted his weight to one side of his body while crossing his arms, almost as if he knew I was lying and wanted to humor me. "Alright." He said with a dead voice and blank face.
