"Ma can I have some of that?" I asked pointing to the ice cream she had just bought "no azzy you just got your braces tightened calm down" She rolled her eyes not looking up from the TV.

"Never let me have shit" I mumbled walking away. "WHAT YOU JUST SAY!?" she stood up "Ian say nothing" I said walking up the stairs "don't walk away from me little girl! You know what its ok... Ima have her ass delt with tonight" She said mumbling the last part.

"Delt with? She gone whoop me? She never whoops me" I said to myself getting scared because I'd never gotten a Whooping before but I've heard stories.

"Azure get up!" I jumped out of my sleep hearing a voice boom through my room. Looking at the Disney Princess night light clock I seen that it was 8:28 meaning that my parents had already gone to work.

"Huh" I looked at my uncle frightened "you been disrespectful huh?" He came and snatched me up.

"Noo! I haven't done anything!" I immediately started crying tryna get outta his hold.

"STOP!" he yelled slapping me to the ground in the hallway. I was next to my parents bedroom and looked under the door. I thought I seen feet but It was probably a shoe on the floor.

I didn't get a good look because I was being dragged. "Get up" He snatched me up by the arm pulling me down the stairs.

At least he didn't drag me down this time.

"Go in the living room" He pushed me while turning off the kitchen lights and grabbing something.

I looked at the windows seeing the curtains slightly open and noticed my mom's car. Maybe my dad just took her to work he takes her a lot. Her car is here a lot of times she's at work.

"Drink this" He came to me with a cup and shoved it into my hands. "W- i- I don-" "DRINK IT AZURE!" he yelled making me jump a little bit almost wasting the drink.

"You got three seconds before I shove it down yo throat" He stepped closer to me saying.

I put the glass to my lips and slowly drunk the beverage in the small glass frowning afterwards as stev smirked taking the glass from me.

Blinking quickly I started to lose balance my vision was blurring and my hearing increased.

My head shot upwards hearing the floors above us creak like someone was there and I seen a shadow.

Oh hell nah.

I'm scared of ghosts.

I couldn't talk to I started stumbling towards the front door leaving stev where he was standing hoping that the ghost would kill him.

Trying to put one foot in front of the other I fell down. When I went to get up I couldn't move.

At all.

I couldn't open my mouth.

I couldn't even move a toe.

I was stuck.

The loud sound of a belt buckle was heard and I looked around seeing stev now walking towards me as tears started to slip my eyes.

For about forty minutes all that could be heard were stevs grunts and the living room tv.

Silent tears slipped my eyes as I stared at the demonic shadow in the upstairs hallway close to the balcony but not close enough for the light to make out what it was.

Stev grabbed my face turning it straight and spit directly on me making tears fall quicker as he pulled out and released onto my shirt.

Letting go of my face my head fell back to its current position and the shadow was gone.

So yo haunted ass gone just watch?

I hate ghost.

I laid on the floor for another sixty minutes before stev decided to pick me up and put me and my room.

"When I noticed Azure wasn't paying attention I walked over to her desk and examined her notebook and seen scribbles. If you look closely you see words like pedophile, rapist, child molester, abuse I thought it was just a drawing because you know how some kids are..... Goth.. They have that mindset but as I looked beyond the words to what the build up to and it said..... Help me that couldn't possibly have been a coincidence Mr.posh I think something is going on in her house hold and I would like to request for a child protective services agent to check it out" I sat outside of the main office listening to my teacher tall to the principal hoping that he would agree.

"I don't know. There's no real sign of abuse I'll just have to give her parents a call and if this continues maybe we could get ahold of CPS" I heard him say and started crying harder than I already was.

I walked into the house and hung up my keys. When I turned around my head flew to the side and I grasped my cheek.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" my mother screamed at me "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!? LYING! YOU'RE A LIAR AZURE!" she screamed slapping me again.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" my father rushed down the steps guarding me from her hand as she went to hit me again.

"shes needs to be punished!" she spat "what the fuck are you talking about" He said now angry that she put her hands on me.

"Shes threatening and bullying the little kids at school saying horrible things to them and the teacher caught her trying to hurt someone in the bathroom" She said looking directly into his eyes.

He turned to look at me "is this true azzy?" He asked with a disappointed look "no! She's lying!" I cried catching her evil glance.

"You can't trust anything she says. She's a liar" She crossed her arms "punish her" She looked at him angrily.

"Until I can investigate further azure your grounded. I'll call the school when I get some free time and ask about it. Go upstairs" He point not looking at me.

"SHE'S LYING!" "I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

"AZURE WAKE UP!" I was shook out of my sleep.

Breathing heavily I looked around locking eyes with lei and started crying "she- she-" I tried to speak as he pulled me into his chest.

"She knew! It was her" I cried into his shirt and he hugged me tighter. "She knew" "Aye".

" Calm down iight we gone handle them I promise."

For the rest of the night lei stayed up watching Disney movies with me and eating a variety of junk food that he had in his room.

How selfish.
