17: Soon

All week was slow and boring, I knew Friday was just going to be a stay at home and be lazy day, but I was still excited. So when Thursday finally came around I was so excited to get home and do nothing that I barely paid attention to school at all. When the bell finally rang I was the first one out of my seat and I sprinted outside.
Don't judge me and my little kid spirit.

"Hey." I said, skidding to a stop in front of Kyler's car. He smiled at me and shook his head.
"Hello there." He said, opening my door then going around to the other side and getting in.
"You know we don't get to do anything until tomorrow?" He asked, pulling out of the school parking lot. I nodded.
"Yes, but I'm still allowed to be excited." I said, pouting slightly. He smiled at me, and chuckled a bit.

We got home and I ran inside, throwing my bag down and kicking my shoes off, jumping onto the couch. I laid on my face and sighed in content. There is just something satisfying about knowing that you will not be going to school tomorrow. I heard him come in and close the door.
"Your a hyper little weirdo aren't you." He said and put his stuff away.
"I TAKE ALL OF THAT IN A VERY GOOD WAY THANK YOU!" I shouted at him, my voice being muffled by the couch cushion my face was buried in.
"I meant it in a good way." He said and I smiled to myself.
"If you don't get out of the couch soon it might have a permanent imprint of your face." He said, coming back into the room.
"You'd like that wouldn't you." I asked, rubbing my face into the couch. He shook his head and scooped me up, setting me down in his lap once he sat down. I repositioned myself so I was straddling his lap and I smiled kissing his cheek and leaning on him. He rubbed my back and kissed my head.
"You're so adorable." He said and I shook my head. He smiled at me and cupped my cheeks making me look straight at him.
"You, Adrian my dear wonderful boyfriend, are the most adorable, perfect, cute, sweet specimen that the world could ever and will ever have." He said and finished it with a kiss to my nose.
"I'm going to ignore the fact that you said specimen for a moment, and say AW!" I shouted the last bit and hugged him tightly.
"See, adorable." He said and kissed my head again.

We laid on the couch for a while, just watching TV and randomly eating every-once-in-a-while. Soon it was pretty late and I needed to take a shower.
"I'll be back." I said and hopped up from the couch and went to the bathroom. I didn't bother grabbing clothes. I just quickly got in and took a shower then got out and wrapped a towel around my waist. I walked into my room and pulled on some boxers and pajama pants. I yawned as I walked back down the hallway and into the living room. I laid down on the couch, my head resting on Kyler's lap as I turned my attention back to the TV.
"You should go to sleep." He said, running his hand through my hair.
"But, I'm not even-" I started but it was interrupted by a yawn.
"You're not what?" He said, cupping his hand around his ear and smiling.
"Shut up." I said and rolled over, snuggling into him. He picked me up and I clung to him as he took me to my room.
"Good night Adrian." He said and put me on the bed I kept a hold of his arm and tugged on it, trying to pull him down with me.
"I have to take a shower, then I will." He said and kissed my nose. I nodded and I curled up in my blankets.

I had fallen asleep before he came back so when he did come in the room and climb in the bed it scared me a bit. I jumped up and he shushed me and kissed my cheek, I smiled and laid back down. He pulled me into his chest and kept his arms wrapped around me, making me feel safe and loved. I kissed his chest once and closed my eyes again, going back to sleep awaiting tomorrow.
