She clutched her phone tightly, as the monotonous dial tone sound cut the thick atmosphere like a knife. Jiro Kyoka was in the second year hero course student's common room. Sitting crossed legged on the couch, she whispered a few cursed words to no one in particular.
The girl had tried to contact her father for the 12th time this afternoon, but the man must have turned his phone off. A habit of his that his only daughter highly dislikes.
Her mother is still working at this hour in her studio. So calling her was out of the question, but she was contemplating on taking the risk.
Jiro was desperate to ask them to send the bag she had left inside her room at home. Why is it that this bag is so important to her? You may ask. Well that bag contains her quirk cancellation pills which she needs to take every day.
You see, our dark haired Earphone Jack can also use her quirk in many ways, but she sticks with the ways that is essential for stealth missions. She also has five other quirks, the one she uses was gotten from mother's side. While the five other quirks were gotten from her father and grandmother, and their first ancestors.
The quirk she inherited from her father was called Sound Manipulation, which is very self explanatory. The other quirk she got from her father was called, Musical mutation. It's kind of similar to Amajiki Tamaki, a member of the big three's quirk.
But instead of taking in the characteristics of whatever he eats. She can freely make any part of her body into any type of object that relates to sounds.
In the other hand the quirk she inherited from her late grandmother was called Allure, with her voice she can trap around a hundred to a thousand people in a state of unconsciousness.
It would last a few days, but it can be cancelled out if she sang to the victim again.
The last quirk she inherited from her grandmother was called Nightmare, she can create a dreamscape full of the victims worst fears, if they heard her voice a few seconds before that.
The quirk she got from her ancestors was called EC, which stands for Emotional Control. Which is quite ironic given that she has an amazing lack of control with her own emotions.
This quirk of hers makes everyone that hears her voice feel the same emotion her voice is conveying. Just like the rest of her quirks (Allure and Nightmare only), she can choose the people who will be affected by it, but it takes a lot of energy for her to do so.
So all her quirks benefit from each other, if you look closely into it.
It was quite normal in their family tree to possess more than one quirk. But the last time there was a member that had six of them was a decade ago. Now that Kyoka had them, her parents made a lot of safety measures for her.
The Jiro Family is very wary of people and they exchange only little to none information about them.
Like Kyoka, her family only wants to live as they like with or without being in the spotlight. It may seem to be a waste of power and abilities, but to them it isn't. If their other quirks are needed they will certainly make it an exception.
But last year, the reason why she couldn't help her classmates somehow. Was because her quirks malfunctioned, they just wouldn't come out even if she wanted them to. There were many times where she badly wanted to use them.
The accident in the USJ, the training camp dilema, and many more incidents that they faced, she wanted to help them but her body just couldn't handle them all at once.
She is a bit emotionally unstable and her three hidden quirks power is controlled by her feelings. So they made sure that she took three pills a day to cancel out the quirks.
