And that was the first sign.

Since Uraraka couldn't hold her pee any longer, she forced herself to get out of the sleeping bag she was currently laying in. It was around three-thirty in the morning, so she tried to make minimal noises as much as humanly possible, although the door did creak when she opened it.

As she was reaching the elevator, she heard a door open, Ochaco unconsciously hid in the corner, holding her breath when Bakugou was in front of the elevator, Kyoka sleeping soundly in his arms.

Without any hesitation, she snapped a quick picture, right before Katsuki entered the lift. It went down to the first floor, she heaved a heavy and forced breath of air, to fill her lungs with much-needed oxygen.

Her desire to urinate was long since forgotten that morning.

It was failing, quite miserably, their plan to reconcile with Katsuki Bakugou.

At the lounge, they tried to casually approach him one by one but were completely ignored since he was sticking to Jiro like gum underneath a desk. While sitting down on the couch, eating, and going back to change, they were a single step away from each other.

And Jiro thought that it was one of those times where Katsuki preferred to be with his most tolerable friend, as he mentioned. Oblivious about the fact that Bakugou was using her as a shield to ward off their other female classmates.

But she did notice how he was a bit uneasy when Jiro did some casual physical interactions with him, he'd usually just raise his brow at her actions and let her do it.

Now, even if it's just a mere poke by her jacks, he'd back up a good few steps away from her. To be completely honest, that made her question if something had happened to make his mannerism falter from his usual.

It ticked her off since she had initially thought that her friendship with the blonde was going on smoothly, so much that when nobody was at her ear's reach, she mumbles something.

"What is up with you dude, your hearts have been up since breakfast." To which the blonde responded by asking what she was talking about, and facing forward once more.

Kyoka grumbles pissed off by how he's hiding it when to her, it's obvious that something bothering him. And yet the blonde was still hesitant on opening up to her about this obvious issue.

She's vented to him numerous times since the last couple of months, and he'd occasionally barge in her room demanding to jam with her, which was his way of saying that he needs to vent.

Kyoka knew that if Katsuki can't be coaxed gently into doing something, there are two more options for her to get the boy to unload that emotional baggage he was clinging to. Option number one: give him the cold shoulder, for after many trials she found out that he doesn't like being intentionally ignored.

The second option is to use sheer force to pry open the truth, since when in battle mode, Katsuki gets distracted in the fight and forgets that he has been hiding something.

And since Jiro is still recovering from yesterday's physical exertion, she opted for the first choice. Making a sharp turn to the right, she left the boy, without saying her usual short and simple farewells to him.

Katsuki was caught off guard by the sudden event, feet seemingly glued in place as he watched Kyoka's figure getting smaller, up until it reached the vanishing point.

Feeling unsafe without the girl, he bolted up to the top floor, locking himself in his room, the idea of him going to class was flushed forcefully down the drain.

Jiro was the only thing that gave him a sense of safety as of now, and since she left him; for a reason, he has yet to find out, the blonde is now in a state of turmoil. And with her gone, his will to attend school was thrown out the window as well.
