Love and lovable.
Those were the words crossed out from Bakugou's essay paper, they were written in cursive, instead of kanji. The girls were shocked at his new revelation, using those two words in general was already surprising. Yet using it to describe Kyoka was even more unfathomable.
But when they looked at it more clearly, the boy did have quite the soft spot for their purple haired classmate. Those little interactions they usually have weren't left unnoticed by the girls. Katsuki's overall tone and posture would visibly change when he's with Jiro. The boy seemed to be more calm and collective, what seemed to be a crossover of a smirk and grin always plastered on his face whenever Jiro shows him something on her phone, or whenever they'd tease each other.
He'd even help the girl reach for the things her not so blessed height prevented her to reach, even if she could simply just use her quirk. On the contrary to what most people believed, he can be easily won over by simple things. Such as puppy dog eyes paired with little pouts is enough for him to give in, that fact was later on discovered by the rest of the squad, and they surely did not really let that slide. Whenever the ash blonde would disagree with them they'd pull their best kicked puppy looks and after a few curses he'd be okay with whatever they had inquired, although he'd continuously mutter empty threats at them.
During meals, they would sometimes steal each other's food, making it as some kind of capture the flag game, but they did it in such a subtle way that it would have been impossible to point it out if you didn't observe the two well. There were also times when the class would find some of Bakugou's shirts peeking through the girl's jacket, while Katsuki would sometimes walk around with Jiro's headphones perched on top of his head. The two had gotten so close, to the point where Hagakure would sometimes see either one of them entering or exiting each other's rooms.
How did they not see this, the two of them aren't really the best at romance and feelings, but it had seemed to the girls that there had always been a certain spark in their relationship. Whenever the two of them converse about music, it was continuous and light, as if they were in their own little world. Trapped away in their own little bubble, where no midterms, assignments and villains could ever reach them.
It was their relationship that grew quietly in the shadows that had surprised them honestly. Nevertheless they had somehow saw it either way, they just seemed to gravitate towards each other, akin to two opposite magnetic poles. Whenever they're in their zone, playing nonstop but still looking refreshed and satisfied, you can never break it, not even Midoriya annoying Bakugou can even get Katsuki to leave their little comfort zone. Not even the class teasing the two can ever snap them out off their moment of euphoria.
That also applies indefinitely to Jiro as well, the teasing looks her classmates gave her and Bakugou, the phones poised towards them taking pictures and videos, even the whistling and claps. She noticed them, but was having too much fun to give a single damn about it, it's not common to find someone as talent in music as Bakugou is. And them having the same favorite genre in that field was a plus honestly.
Though at first and until now they are still arguing on a few certain things, such as Bakugou's belief of Metallica being way better than The White Stripes. Like yeah, Enter Sandman is a really good song, but in Jiro's opinion Seven Nation Army slayed on it's own, and is most definitely better than it.
Bakugou on the other hand is usually quarrelling with the shorter girl upon her statement that Guns N' Roses is way above The Rolling Stones, "Has that bitch even heard of Satisfaction or what?" Is what always comes to the boy's mind whenever they'd fight about it.
After talking with Midnight for a few more minutes the older female ordered them to return back to their dorms because Aizawa was coming back in half an hour. And leave the building they did, well not before bidding their dear old beloved teacher goodbye.
