REGAN'S POV
1 day before magcon
UGH! I am so mad. All I wanted for my birthday was to get to go to the Meet and greet with my favorite six members of Magcon. But, of course, my soooooo uncool mother wouldn't know how to even buy the tickets, so I ended up getting clothes and a bunch of itunes cards. It's SO unfair! They were coming at least 30 minutes from where we lived in California! An opportunity like that doesn't just come out of nowhere! I'm SO jealous. My best friend, Hannah, gets to go! Her mom is so cool. She is like OBSESSED with Shawn, and she gets to meet him! I guess me and Taylor weren't meant to get married and have 8 children... Well at least they come to California a lot, right? Wrong? UGHHHHHH!!!!!
I HATE MY LIFE! I walk downstairs to get one of my homemade Nutella, ice cream, and waffle sandwich to ease my pain. My mom is standing near my dad's office desk over a pile of mail. Her long blonde curls covering her new pearl necklace. I reach toward the mail to see if any more of my birthday cards came. My jaw drops down to the floor. The first piece of mail read "MAGCON" in big bold letters. "WELL?!" "Why. didn't. you. TELL ME?!" "Well, we bought the tickets a while ago, and we got a call five days ago saying your tickets fell through. We were planning on telling you Yesterday, but we decided it was best to let you think you weren't going at all. It was SUPPOSED to be a surprise, but since the tickets came on time... HAPPY BIRTHDAY Punkin'!" "I LOVE YOU!" "You too sweetie, now go get packed, you're staying at the hotel with Hannah for a week! Your dad and I decided that you're finally old enough." "Oh my gosh, this is the BEST birthday gift EVER! Did I mention I love you?" I head upstairs and pack SUPER fast. Tomorrow I would see Taylor Caniff. I'm literally crying right now.
NEXT DAY @ 9:00 am
I am in the car obsessing to my mom about Taylor and Shawn and everyone. She just laughs and laughs. At about 10:30 we reach the hotel. I pass out for an hour and it's about 11:45 and I get my bandanna and Taylor merch. This was it.
