When Marshall took Chase to the hospital, the rest of pups decided to go to Ryder and talk about vacation for Chase. When they got to the party, they heard something, that got them shocked.

Ryder: I can't believe it. He's really a hero. My best pup is a hero.

Mayor Goodway: Yes he surely is. I think he should stay to take care of our town every time, when you're going to the vacation.

Ryder: Maybe you are right.

The pups couldn't believe it. Ryder wanted to make Chase stay on the guard for even longer time.

Rocky: It's now or never.

Skye: For Chase.

Zuma: Exactly. Let's do this for Chase.

Rubble: For Chase.

Everest: I'm in your union.

Tracker: Me also.

So they came to Ryder and Mayor Goodway.

Rubble: Ryder, we overheard your talk and we disagree with your decision.

Rocky: Yeah, Ryder. Chase deserved a vacation 100%

Ryder: Why? Chase is a very strong pup and can take care of everything.

Zuma (angry): Taking care of everything 25 times IN A ROW! Seriously Ryder?

Tracker: Chase is on his way to hospital due to very hard month of solo work.

Mayor Goodway discovered about what pups were saying.

Mayor Goodway: I agree with them Ryder. Every evening this month I saw him driving home and Chase was really tired. Now I hear something, that put me in shock.

Ryder was also speechless. His first pup felt too much pressure on his paws, and how it's turned to him.

Ryder: Sorry pups, but you're right. Why you didn't say that to me earlier?

Everest: We were quite afraid of your decision Ryder.

Skye: Remember we tried to talk with you about that, but you stayed on your decision?

Ryder: I kinda remember this. It was 21st time, when Chase stayed in Adventure Bay.

*Flashback*

Marshall: Ryder?

Ryder: Yes, Marshall?

Marshall: It's 21st time when Chase is taking responsibility of our town. Maybe he need to go with us?

Ryder: Sorry Marshall, but I decided. Chase will stay again.

Rubble: But Ryder! You don't know how hard is mission for Chase can be. Let him go with us.

Ryder: I said no.

*Reality*

Ryder (whispers): Oh my God.

Rocky: Calm down Ryder. Like Rubble said, you didn't know, how hard could missions be for him.

Ryder: I always thought, when we were going, that missions would be easy for him. Oh no!

*Flashback*

Chase: Ryder. You know, I had some hard missions when I was taking care of the Lookout and Adventure Bay. Maybe I should go with you?

Ryder: You mean vacation?

Chase: Yes. I was really tired.

Ryder: Had you got hurt on these missions?

Chase: No.

Ryder: Well, you got your answer.

Chase (sad): OK, Ryder sir.

*Reality*

Mayor Goodway: I have an annoucment for you. It's a present for Chase, not for anniversary. He really worked hard while helping us and I respect that. So my decision: Chase will have a four-month vacation to heal. Ryder, you will understand.

Ryder: I understand this decision Mayor Goodway (smiles). 

Pups: (howl)

Mayor Goodway: Skye, you have a honor to go with him.

Skye (blushes): M-me?

Rubble (chuckles): Ooooohh. I know, what she means. Don't decline!

Everest: It's your chance to tell Chase, how you're feel about him.

Skye: Ok ok. I will go.

Ryder (happy): You're such a good pups. Well, this incident with Chase quite ruined the party and (turns to Mayor Goodway) we should celebrate this like a whole team. Hope you will understand.

Mayor Goodway: It's OK Ryder. It will be a party like thanks to Chase and anniversary.

Ryder: What do you think pups?

Zuma: Sounds like a deal. We are with you.

Mayor Goodway: Excellent!

Just then Marshall called Ryder.

Marshall: Ryder, pups. I'm in the hospital. Chase has woken up.

Ryder: We are coming Marshall!

Marshall: See you!

Ryder and pups drove to the hospital to visit Chase and tell the news.
