-"It's extinct," the firefighters say.

-"Thank you," Sam smiles at Max and his colleagues.

-"He's very welcome! I'm Max Clark. He's Alexander Bad and Harry Lohan," he introduces his colleagues. Max is an ocean blue-eyed firefighter with dark brown hair, Alex is a brown-haired and light-brown-eyed firefighter with light brown eyes and dark green eyes. There is confidence in Max's voice. Sam has a strong suspicion that he may be the leader of the team

-"I'm Sam Jones. They're my colleagues: Elvis Cridlington, Ellie Phillips, Audrey Smith and Arnold Mckinley. And our boss Norris Steele ...... I see you already know Penny."

-"Yes!" Max and Penny say angrily at the same time. Sam notices the anger between them and looks at Penny. She looks angry, but when she looks at Samra she closes her eyes and blows the air.

-"All right! Let's get our stuff together and get going afterwards," Penny says a little hoarsely.

-"So girls," Max says. "Will you see King, our fire truck?"

-"Um, we don't know ...!" They answer, but it's too late. Max pulled them away. Ellie and Audrey look back in frightened eyes.

-"Oooo. King is a bumpy fire truck!" Arnold stares. - "I'm going too!"

-"All right! Don't leave me here!" Elvis runs, waving after them. Sam starts, but turns and looks at Penny. He sees his colleague sad and angry at the same time.

-"Penny ...! What's wrong?" He asks.

-"Nothing Sam! It's just ... it's just ..." Penny turns. - "It's hard to forget all this."

-"Just say it," Sam smiles at him. Penny takes a big breath.

-"Well .... Max was my best friend at the academy. After our fate we went to a place to work .... but I came here to Pontypandy. We haven't talked to each other since that day. But it's a complicated and long story."

-"We have time because we have a day off tomorrow," Sam says softly.

-"I was very hurt by all this and I would need someone to listen to me."

-"If we get back to the station, we can talk, okay?" Sam smiles. Penny nods a little happier.

-"Soooo. Shift is over," Sam closes his blue locker.

-"Finally," Penny says as she leans against the closet.

-"Are you tired?" The man asks and steps in front of Penny.

-"Not so much that we don't go for a walk," she smiles.

-"Okay, let's just get our stuff," Sam says and reaches for the woman and his own bag and hands it to Penny.

-"Thank you," the blonde firefighter takes over the bag.

Sam and Penny go to the park to talk . They walk together after almost every shift.

-"Do you want to talk about what happened today?" Sam asks.

-"It would be nice. I don't want to keep myself in front of my best friend."

-"Tell me. What's wrong?"

-"Max ..." Penny says softly.

-"What are you doing now?"

-"Nothing now, just a long time ago. Well, so I said when we were in the academy we were good friends, so there were three of us. Lori, Max and I. Then later all three of us started working in Newtown. It all started there. Max said he was in love with me and he wants to be with me ..... "

-"And you? What did you say?" The red-haired man asks.

-"I refused. Of course he bit me and harassed me. He made me love him. And I always wore him down. Then I heard once that he wanted to spit for the big nothing. He wanted to tell the lie to the commander. I told him why. I didn't want to get in trouble. Still, I was just a good friend, "he says.

- "Do Lori know that?"

-"No. I didn't tell him either. You're the first," Penny admits.

-"Thank you for telling me. I promise I won't tell anyone ..... and that I will protect you at all costs." Sam says, looking at her.

-"Thank you. I couldn't have found a better one than you," Penny says, suddenly hugging the man. - "I can always count on you."

-"Come, I'm going home. It's too late," he breaks the silence.

-"I don't want to go home yet. Are we talking yet?" Penny growled in her friend's chest.

-"Yes. What should we talk about?" Sam asks as they pull out of their embrace.

-"Let's just say we haven't talked about why you're not dancing anymore." Penny brings up the subject with a glared smile.

-"You're not going to stop asking about this, are you?" He laughs.

-"No." she chuckles.

-"Yeah. When I was in high school, I had to apply for some kind of profession or sport or something. I went dancing. I got together in a couple with a girl. For a long time, it looked like we were going to a dance school with that girl. and dancing for positions. When I told this to my dance partner he was very angry with me.I just say.I told him well in advance that I want to go elsewhere to study further and to look for another partner. He was quite good with him, until I told him I was going to Cardiff to the Fire Academy. "

-"You could have been very skillful."

-"Yes, but it was better to dance with you," Sam smiles

-"I was having a good time, too," the blonde woman smiles

-"I was having a good time, too," the blonde woman smiles.

-"You know ..... what we have in common is that our friends have let me down."

-"Yes. But it only makes us stronger ... but I'm not going to act like that girl. I'm going to support and encourage you." Penny turns to Sam.

-"You've been doing this for years. And you know that Max took advantage of your kindness? You could have told the commander a long time ago and betrayed him, but you didn't. You're a really exceptional person," Sam says. Then they look into each other's eyes. They know they can count on another at any time. They can do anything together. A moment later, they turn their heads. "Well, I think it's late. I'll escort you home," he says.

-"Thanks Sam."
